Inkshares authors (and new visitors to this website) are invited to submit their entries to myklwalsh (at) yahoo.com

When Mykl says "related to my project Journey, A Short Story" it’s a loose relationship with a pretty wide open premise.

Everyone is free to dream up their own version of what life on Earth In The Year 10,000 is like.

Walsh & Saunders (The sponsors) will judge the entries and may engage consultants outside of Inkshares to help with the assessments.

Submissions must be original compositions, not previously published and you must agree to not publish the work elsewhere until at least one year AFTER this anthology has been released.

The sponsors will own the rights to the overall work while contributors will retain the individual copyrights to their respective pieces.

The sponsors will take 20% of the royalties. The remaining 80% of royalties will be split equally by the winning authors featured in the anthology.

Walsh and Saunders will be responsible for paying out the royalties to the winners in quarterly installments. They will provide copies of the Inkshares royalty statements as proof of the integrity of the process.

To cover one of the legal issues, At least $1,000 in advance royalties will be paid by the sponsors to the winners sometime before the publication date - each winner receives a $100 advance royalty payment as "consideration".

Good luck!
