Craig A. Munro liked an update for Sync City

Greetings Jackolytes,

The ebook has landed! You should’ve already received an email telling you how to download it. Simply follow the links and Jack and his ride will be all yours. If you have not received the email, follow this link here. Once on the book page, sign in, click on the download button underneath the cover image, and the links and instructions will follow..

And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what could better express your feelings to your significant other than a story of mayhem and madness? It would be great if you can share this tender story of man and machine with those who are leading a Jackless existence!

Finally, and MOST importantly, a huge thanks to all of you that pre-ordered Jack’s story and supported me through out! I really (and this is true) couldn’t have done it without all your help!

Cheers and see you in the review pages!

Peter

    Hello!

If you are a new follower, welcome, I’m really glad to have you on-board.

A brief update this week to let you all know that last night I got the first drafts of two different covers back from Damonza.com - a few tweaks needed of course, but I’m really excited by what they’ve come up with.  Because one of them is reeeeaaallly close to what I was envisioning, I’m not going to give you a sneak peak (aaaawww) - but I should be doing the big reveal very soon.

    Cheerio
    Helen.

Craig A. Munro liked an update for The Madness of Mr. Butler

Sorry to have seemingly spammed you all on this rainy Tuesday morning (in Northeast Ohio, at least, it is autumn now. Whereas last week it was winter and it was spring the week before that.)

I am writing to let you know that, although I am still waiting for production to begin, the book still exists. I have sent the first two chapters of the submitted manuscript for your reading pleasure. I will send more in the future. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Please reach out to me with any questions or if you are curious enough to read more. If you have preordered the book, I see no reason why you shouldn’t be able to read any bit of the draft that you wish. (Hint-hint, to those of you who haven’t preordered...)

The book is still planned to be released next February from what I know, but consider that date to be fluid. I am still working on the website and bonus reading material for all of you lovely backers.

And fellow authors: please reach out to me for any needs. We are a community, and if we can help each other out then that community only grows stronger.

      This is me: mhaase75@gmail.com

Tweet at me if you’d like: @keepwritingmike

      That is all for now.

      Love to all,

Craig A. Munro liked an update for The Walls are Closing In

Another week is wrapping itself up rather quickly, and I will do the same with this update. Just a few points.

The first chapter of The Walls are Closing In was published in Inigo Online Magazine earlier this week! "Inigo Online is an international online magazine centered around people who create, invent or take risks for a project or a dream. We feature writers, artisans, poets, musicians, artists of all types, entrepreneurs, bloggers, filmmakers, foodies, fashionistas, photographers, innovators and more."

        Read the Article Here

The Walls are Closing In passed the 300 order mark, and as promised, there is a new teaser trailer, made by yours truly.

        Future milestone perks!

Let’s keep the word spreading! Just two referral orders from each follower will lock this full publishing deal down. I appreciate each and every one of you!

400 Orders - Audio version of Chapter 1 - Narrated by me. We will see how my voice-over chops measure up.

500 Orders - A limited edition The Walls are Closing In postcard (design to be revealed next week) will be sent to each of the first 500 to order (tipped in upon publication for paperback orders, or mailed for e-book orders.)

        Until next time,

        Jacqui

Craig A. Munro liked an update for The Knightmares

          Hello Knightmares!

It’s been a while, and there’s a very good reason for that. For one, I am balancing a career and my writing as best I can, which is not always a winning battle. In addition to that, I really don’t have much to update everyone with, as I am waiting my turn like everyone else. Inkshares has a ton of books all in the same queue, and we will be notified by the publisher when our time comes. As soon as I hear something, I will make an announcement.

I do, however, have good news. Since everyone has been waiting patiently for The Knightmares, I don’t want to let anyone down, or lose any momentum I may have had. With this in mind I devised a plan...

Starting on April 1st (no fooling) I will be releasing BRAND NEW FREE content on the first of every month leading up to The Knightmares release. This content will be available on my new author site that will be launching in a few weeks. Not only am I writing Vexed, but I have been squeezing every available moment I can into writing this content, creating a new webpage, and also creating artwork as well, ALL FOR YOU!

The free content includes a mythology that introduces everyone to an interconnected world I call SCALES. Borrowed from my love of Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Mesopotamian mythology and folklore, this mythology will start at the beginning, and set up the stage for epic level world events that will be the stage of each of my novels. There will be a few surprises for those who enjoy classic Lovecraftian horror, which I hope does not disappoint.

I will be sending out an official email across all channels when the content and the site are ready. Hopefully this will keep your appetite roaring for when the book goes into official production.

Thanks again everyone, for your support!

Craig A. Munro liked an update for Witherfist

Hello, readers! I hope you’re all well.

This month’s Witherfist update is a relatively short one as there isn’t a lot that’s changed since the last time I was in touch, aside from the number of words that I’ve written. Work on the manuscript is coming along nicely and at the steady - sometimes galloping - pace that I’d hoped for. No news, as they say, is good news.

One new thing that I can share with you, though, is a new piece of character concept art.  This is Oriku. She’s an assassin, and that’s all I’m going to tell you about her for now ;-)

              Greetings Earthlings,

The project page has once again been updated, with a spicy new hook and revised synopsis. The completed draft is sitting on my desktop waiting to be made into a real thing that can be bought and consumed. So, know that if and when the campaign starts anew, you are going to be investing in a complete project, ready to be edited and buffed and shined into full-blown amazingness (not a word, don’t judge me, you get the point).

              Thanks for your support!

                Hey everyone.

Just sending out a quick message to let you all know that I haven’t vanished off the face of the earth. Inkshares has the manuscript for Blue Water, and it’s in line for production.  There are quite a few books ahead of us, so it’s definitely going to be a minute before the book is in your hands. I hope you are all as excited for Blue Water to be in your hands as I am. The minute I get any update, I’ll pass it on to you.

And between now and then, please continue to tell your friends about Blue Water. It’s still able to be preordered, and momentum in sales may help us climb the ladder a little quicker.

And keep your eye on us.  I’ve got some fun things planned for the months ahead.

                Thank you all.

Craig A. Munro liked the forum thread, Allowing more than one genre per book
                  Hi Everyone,

I appreciate the input here and agree that there is an upside to allowing multiple genres. The downside is that it can ’dilute’ the accuracy of search results and matching generally.

One workaround which is currently functional is to include the names of any other similar genres in the long description under the About section of your story page. Our search algorithm parses this text and so if you make references to multiple genres in the description it should show up in search results.
