Michael Ostrowski liked an update for Tears of the Assassin

Dear Faithful Followers of the reluctant assassin David Diegert,

Recently Tears of the Assassin was read by the Kirkus Review. You can read the whole review through the link, but here’s a juicy sentence in which they sum up their reaction to the story.

A whirlwind debut, packed with excitement, espionage, and an increasingly dangerous main character who never lets up. - Kirkus Review

For all my readers who’ve completed Tears of the Assassin, I’m writing the sequel as fast as I can.  You will soon see how David’s life takes an unexpected turn requiring him to rely on his skills, while his sense of purpose is torn.

As always, I appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Bill Brewer (William Schiele)

Michael Ostrowski liked an update for Crow’s Gambit

    Greetings supporters of Crow’s Gambit!

I know I have been quiet lately. The Fall university semester is getting ready to start and the students (and faculty) are scurrying.

Today I have big news though. Crow’s Gambit has been selected as the Staff Syndicate pick for August. I am honored at this selection and the support it brings for the story. We are creeping closer to our goal.

Stay tuned for more updates and some Crow’s Gambit activities in the near future...

Michael Ostrowski liked an update for Monkey Business

      Happy Weekend Monkeys,

Big news for this week, Monkey Business has officially sold over 1,000 copies since being published. In my heart that’s always been a huge milestone so I’m really pretty happy. A big thank you is in order to all of you who helped make that happen.

So hey, click here to listen to a sample of the Monkey Business Audiobook!

And if you want to get your own copy of that audiobook, you can have one for free if you pre-order my new novel, Black Cloud.

That is all my friends. I hope you have a great weekend!

Michael Ostrowski liked an update for Mushroom and Anchovy

        Greetings, adventurers!

The past few weeks have been incredibly hectic for me, with traveling, visits from and with family and friends, my husband being on vacation, tying up loose ends, and much more. Now that the book is officially just one month today from the campaign’s end, it’s time for me to get serious about reaching out to others. Some have you may have heard from me already, but I’m going to be reaching out to individuals over the next little while. If you’ve already preordered, though, you won’t hear from me, so no worries there! An added note that the Canadian dollar is strong right now, so this is a great time to order!

An exciting note: Mushroom and Anchovy is currently being considered for entry into the SnarkyDarkSy syndicate! This alone is very exciting. The official selection hasn’t been made yet, but the fact that Mushroom and Anchovy is on the table at all is an excellent sign.

Since I’ve gotten several new preorders since the last update—thank you, by the way!—I feel this is a pertinent time to mention that I have a Facebook giveaway going on for ALL backers of the book. It’s the pinned post over on my page: K. M. Cooper, Writer and Freelancer. Check it out and, if you’ve ordered the book, PLEASE enter! All instructions are on the pinned post. Also, over at that link, I’ll be reading chapter 4 live next Wednesday, August 16th, at 9 PM AST! I hope to see some of you there!

Lastly… surprise! Chapter 5 will be in your inboxes shortly. I hope this one makes you laugh, because it contains quite possibly one of the most ridiculous and immature scenes in the entire story. It also happens to be one of my favourites.

May all your adventures be fraught with wonder and just enough peril to keep them interesting,

        K. M. Cooper

Michael Ostrowski liked a chapter from The Astronaut Instruction Manual

Our life’s end does not have to be the end of us, but it is the end of our turn. So, when and if we have to die, make the end of your turn become the completion of an extraordinary life story.

Yet, if you can, why not just keep on living?
