Kendra Namednil liked an update for Black Cloud

Hello Everyone,

I know it’s been a long time since you heard anything from me which probably seems strange since I’m supposed to be working my butt off selling pre-orders. I have not been doing that. In fact, I’m writing today to tell you that I’m closing down the pre-order campaign for Black Cloud. You should all be receiving a full refund shortly. If you don’t, please contact Inkshares and they’ll work it out for you.

There are several reasons I’m choosing to end this campaign. Some are good reasons, some are probably not so good. In short life has been busy and I just don’t have it in me to run a successful campaign right now. There are other reasons but it boils down to that. The book needs work and the campaign needs work. I don’t have the time to commit to either. I thought I could make it work but I was wrong.

So let me just say this: thank you for following the book. Thank you for pre-ordering if you did. I really appreciate the support and I hope this book will end up in your hands one day soon be it through Inkshares or some other means.

In the meantime you can always check out my first book. Which I am in the process of submitting to Audible this week. So hopefully it will be an official audiobook soon.

Thank you!   - Landon

      Greetings Bards,

I am reaching out after the long dark silence to let you know that I will finally be publishing Part One of the Series on Amazon Kindle slated for release November 31st, 2017 for your reading pleasure! That´s right not only this year but two months away! The story has undergone a revamp, rewrite, and reworking that I believe will increase the action and suspension and bring you a story worthy of your time.

I have decided to release what would have been book one in three parts on Amazon instead of one massive dump of eight hundred pages. Each installment will be released in a much more digestible form of around two hundred and fifty to three hundred pages and for a much more affordable price than it would have once been offered here on Inkshares. Instead of 9.99 or 19.99, how does 2.99 sound? Or if you are an avid reader who subscribes to Kindle Unlimited youĺl get to read it for Free! I will also be running multiple promotions through Amazon where you can probably get it for less than the full ticket 2.99. Wowza!

Initially I am planning a strictly KINDLE release but once all three installments are finished and published I will release a Paperback that includes all three installments.

I will most likely be releasing the installments approximately three to six months apart, but that could be subject to change. In the meantime, I will be asking for volunteers to help me with beta reading before the release of book one in November. If you are interested please contact me here or via email @ Christopher.Eichenauer@gmail.com. I look forward to bringing this world to you finally!

For further updates please make sure to follow the Facebook Page @ https://www.facebook.com/LoreoftheAosSi/

Cheers and thank you for all of your support but in the campaign and in the future!

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Devil’s Call

        Friends!

There’s an alternate universe where I do things I say I’m going to do in a timely fashion and don’t pop up a month after my novel’s been published to check and see how everyone’s doing, but you know. Life.

        .

In this universe, my father asked me how to leave a review, as there is no information as to how to do so on the Inkshares page. So shout out to Papa Dorn, for without him I would have continued putting off this update.

First off: if you preordered either an ebook or paperback copy, you most definitely should have received it by now. If you haven’t, please contact either myself or the good folks at hello@inkshares.com and we’ll figure out what the heck happened.

Second off: I know some of you aren’t wordsmiths, so even just choosing a number of stars and telling the Internet that you enjoyed the novel and would recommend it helps me out in mysterious ways. There’s an algorithm Amazon uses that helps make Devil’s Call more visible once reviews hit a certain number. My sources say the number is 50, but who knows.

Please note that you need to have an account and be signed in in order to leave a review.

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Blue Water

            Happy Monday everyone.

Just wanted to let everyone know that after a bit of hyper-focus to the point of nearly blacking out, the BLUE WATER cover has been updated.  I think this is quite near what the final design will look like, but there’s always room for a couple tweaks here or there.  Seeing this makes it all feel pretty real. It’s getting closer and closer to our turn at the plate.

            Whaddaya think, sirs?

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Witherfist

Hello, readers. Long time no write!

By now, you should have received an email letting you know that you’re getting a refund for pre-ordering my book, Witherfist. Sadly, this isn’t a mistake. I’ve decided not to go ahead with publishing Witherfist at this time.

Since successfully hitting funding of Witherfist in January of this year, I’ve come to a realisation. The book needs a lot of work and a lot of time before it’s in a position to hand to a publisher, let alone to send out to wonderful readers like yourself. Not knowing how long that will be, I don’t feel comfortable asking you to wait, not when you’ve already parted with your money, and so I have made the decision to request that Inkshares refund all of you.

Whether you preordered the book because you genuinely liked the story of Witherfist, or because you wanted to support me, either as a friend or as a fellow author and Inkshares community member, I’m incredibly grateful. Having so many people rally behind this book - and me - really was amazing. You’ve all given me the confidence to share my writing with the world, and I can’t thank you enough for that.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Please let me know if you have any issues receiving your refund.

               ~ Jenny

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Battle Flag: The Road To Hell

                12 Days left....

Well I finished going through my first three chapters with the help of the beta read critique offered by M. Robert Randolph, thank you sir, and not a lot has changed. I reworded a few things and adjusted some stuff but overall I was primarily fixing some spelling errors here and there. They might be a bit of an info dump but I’m just not sure how to pick apart all of those threads, which come together later, and re-implement them somewhere else so that everything’s in place before the climax. If you’re a fan of Techno-Thrillers, from  Clancy or Coonts, that was really the style and structure I’m working towards.

We’re into the last two weeks of the campaign and still sitting at 11 orders. If you really have any interest in reading this thing now is the time to order and, even if you don’t plan on reading it, kick in for an E-Book and just let it sit on the website.

There is one thing I’d love to see Inkshares do and that is to create an option similar to the multiple purchase option but instead of multiple physical copies of the book you’re just kicking in extra money to help the project along. Maybe this could be for someone who wants only one physical copy of the book but wants to help out even more than the preorder price, or perhaps an author knows somebody who’s willing to help out monetarily but has no plans to read it.

                Anyway, talk to you later.
