Noah Broyles liked an update for Henderson House

Dear supporters of Henderson House,

If you pre-ordered during the contest, you should get an email today saying you can download the ebook now - woohoo!

I know many of you want to wait to read the paperback copy, and I can’t blame you, it’s beautiful and should arrive soon. But for those who enjoy reading on a digital device, I wanted to let you know that KINDLE now uses the EPUB format. The instructions on the download page make it sound like there should be a separate button to download for KINDLE, but you can download the EPUB format and follow the directions to have it delivered to your KINDLE.

Feel free to email hello@inkshares.com with any questions about downloading your ebook.

Early reviews on Goodreads are so helpful! You can’t leave a review on Amazon until August 1st, but if you do read the ebook (or paperback in record time) and would like to leave an early review on Goodreads here is the link:

Noah Broyles liked an update for The Unforgiven Dead

Klaxon call! The publication of The Unforgiven Dead is immanent!

It’s taken the best part of eight years, governments have risen and fallen, and we’ve came through a global pandemic, but, finally, The Unforgiven Dead will be published on July 27th.

Since my last update, advanced copies have been winging their way to reviewers and bloggers ahead of publication, and I’ve done the first of (hopefully) many author interviews. If you’re interested in hearing me blether about the inspiration behind the book and all things Tartan Noir, I’ll be doing a Facebook live interview with the UK Crime Book Club on their Facebook page on July 17th at 7pm.

In other news, I’m well chuffed to say The Unforgiven Dead is one of five novels shortlisted for the prestigious Bloody Scotland Crime Debut of the Year Award. The winner will be announced at Bloody Scotland-the country’s top crime-writing festival-on September 15th in the beautiful city of Stirling. I’ll be appearing on not one, but TWO, panels at the festival to chat about the book. So, if you happen to be in Stirling then come along for the craic...

To those who have pre-ordered copies of The Unforgiven Dead, I can’t tell how grateful I am for your support and patience throughout the process. On an administrative note, please ensure that Inkshares has the correct shipping address for you as I’m thrilled to say the books are due to be despatched in the coming days! I can’t wait to introduce you to a cast of characters that I hope you will all take to your hearts.

I know it’s taken a long time to reach this stage, but like the old Guinness adverts used to say: "Good things come to those who wait..."

    Slainte!

Noah Broyles liked an update for Unnatural Ends

        20 June 2023!

After more delays than anyone would like, this is finally happening! 20 June 2023, four weeks from today, will see the North American release of Unnatural Ends. What this means for you, if you’ve pre-ordered any physical copies, is that you should CHECK and UPDATE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS. It has been a while, after all, and if you’ve moved in the meantime (as I have) you don’t want the thing you’ve paid good money for to be sent off to the wrong place.

You may have noticed that I specified North American release up there. This is because we’re also getting a UK release a month later, in July. (I think this means that those of you in the UK will have the satisfaction of getting your ordered copies in before Waterstones.) Inkshares is breaking into the UK market, and guess what they’re using as a battering ram?

That’s right. That’s me on the cover of the issue of The Bookseller distributed on the second day of the London Book Fair last month. The other guy is Fulton Ross, author of The Unforgiven Dead, which you should definitely check out because it’s a darn good read.

We’re just counting down the days now!

          Dear Henderson House supporters,

I am reaching out to you via Inkshares (instead of MailChimp) because I have two important Inkshares-related action items to share:

          1) IF YOUR ADDRESS HAS CHANGED since you preordered a copy of Henderson House during the Inkshares All Genre Contest, now is the time to UPDATE your address on Inkshares. You created an Inkshares account when you preordered. If you don’t remember your password, you can use the Forgot Password feature to create a new password, log in, and update your mailing address.

Everyone should be receiving their copies of Henderson House on or around Tuesday, August 1st!

So please, make sure your mailing address is correct!

          2) I CREATED A PROJECT PAGE for my second novel, Sequoyah Road. PLEASE FOLLOW my new project. You may not want to read Sequoyah Road until you have finished Henderson House (spoilers) but if you follow my new project, you’ll be able to start the next book right away. I have the first 11 draft chapters of Sequoyah Road up online! Those who already read a draft of HH can start reading Sequoyah Road now. Here is the link:

          https://www.inkshares.com/books/sequoyah-road

I have tons to share in my May Issue of Book News, which is coming soon, but I wanted to reach out via the Inkshares platform with these two important Inkshares updates.

          76 Days To Go!

          All the best,
