Tahani Nelson liked an update for Tantalus Depths

Guess what?

Know what’s special about those numbers? Probably not, unless you’re me, but we passed a huge landmark number today.
As of right now, we have officially passed the point we were at two months ago when we lost all the false pre-orders. Tantalus Depths’s pre-order count is now 674: the highest it’s ever been.
We are officially exploring unexplored territory now, which, at the heart of things, is what this book is all about.
I’ve taken off the next three days from work. I’m pushing every single responsibility in my life out of the way and focusing entirely on finding new pre-orders. I will eat, sleep, and breathe this campaign.
To get 76 orders in four days is 19 a day. It’s almost impossible. Almost. I’m not a fan of the concept of impossibility. I aim to conquer it.

Meanwhile, enjoy this gallery of past updates: this time focusing on the vehicles and equipment used by the crew on Tantalus 13. Click any picture to be taken to the original update where it was featured.

Tahani Nelson sent an update for The Last Faoii

Oh, yeah, Faoii. One more thing:

We have 36 days to get 36 pre-orders. One a day from here until the end. People know our banner-- they know our fight. We just need to convince them that they are worthy of picking up a blade and joining it. That we need them. Spread the word, soldier. One a day. We can do that.

Also, if you haven’t been following the forums, here’s what Faoli-Joey had to say about our army this week:

"Though still at 6th place on the site, The Last Faoii by Tahani Nelson is actually tied with A Light in the Void for 5th place! A strong, ferocious campaign has helped Ms. Nelson make her way into the Top 5 and she’s not planning on stopping any time soon. The Epic Fantasy Syndicate has backed The Last Faoii and that support has brought Ms. Nelson under 50 preorders away from reaching quill! She’s also raffling off a chance to name one of the many characters in her book as well as early beta reading privileges, so now is definitely the time to join the fight! As I’ve said before, this is probably one of, if not *the* funnest campaign going on in the entire contest and it’s definitely worth the time to be a part of it. Go check out Ms. Nelson’s page as well as the book page for The Last Faoii for more information!"

Thanks you, Faoii-Joey, for your words of support. I’m glad you’re having so much fun with this war-- I don’t like being the only one delighting in the fight!!

    Faoii-Tahani out.

      Orders, Faoii! Listen up!

We’re 39 pre-orders away from Quill. That’s nothing, Faoii. Let’s get it done!

The best way to make people interested in the book is to make sure they SEE it. So today all I’m asking is for you to recommend or review The Last Faoii. Here’s instructions if you need them.

      To Recommend:
      1. Go to inkshares.com/books/the-last-faoii
      2. At the top of the screen, underneath the 3 badges we’ve gotten from syndicates, you’ll see the recommend option. Click on whichever one is easiest for you (inkshares, twitter, FB, e-mail, or all of them).
3.Watch as people realize how awesome our army is and join our fight.

      To Review:
      1. Go to This Link HERE
      2. At the BOTTOM right side of the screen you’ll see the Leave A Review button.
      3. Click it.
      4. Write why you’ve joined our army and why you want it to succeed.
      5. Watch as more people answer the call.

Please do this, Faoii. I know I’ve been pushing you all hard since the beginning of this, but we’re almost through the thick of it. Just one more push and we’ll have it.

      Shields up.

        Orders, Faoii! Listen up!

We’re getting close, Faoii. We’re only 40 or so pre-orders away from Quill and select publication. If nothing else, we can earn that victory.

It’s a little more sobering to realize that we’re 100 unique readers away from the top 3 in the Geek and Sundry contest. That hill is more challenging-- but I think we can make it, too. I know I keep telling you that I want our banner on that hill-- but it’s more than that. I want to be able to put The Last Faoii in the hands of girls across the nation. I want to give them a heroine that’s worthy of being emulated-- who’s more than a pretty face looking for a husband. Who’s strong and fierce and wearing armor that covers all of her vital organs. I want young LGBT people to have someone whose main characteristics isn’t that they’re LGBT. Kaiya is a warrior, a woman, a faoii-- she’s more than "just" a lesbian, and I want people to be okay with that.  And I think a lot of you do, too.

Prove it. Get this book out there, to as many people as you can. I want to win that contest because I want Kaiya to help us change the face of fantasy literature and heroines. We can do that. We are faoii.

        -Faoii Tahani
