Landon Trine liked an update for Cape’s Side Bay

Hello Cape’s Side Bayers!

Hope you’re all doing well! It’s the weekend. Finally!

Few exciting things have happened. First, it’s been two weeks since we crossed the Quill mark of 250 and are now at 46% of our full-publishing mark! That’s a total of 347 orders! Amazing! Thank you all so much.

Now for the awesome part of this update. This morning when I woke up I had several e-mails in my inbox, typical. The one that stood out, however, was the one informing me that Cape’s Side Bay had been selected into the THRILLER NIGHT SYNDICATE! Unbelievable. I cannot thank them enough for selecting this book into their club. It is truly an honour to be acknowledge by your peers. Now the Cape’s Side page has a Eid Mar Roman Coin hovering around!

I’m flattered, honoured, and humbled at the selection.

Now, the long long road to 750 and full-publishing continues. I thank you ALL for your continued support for this book. I really enjoy it and believe you will too!

Please keep sharing, recommending, and pre-ordering (y’know, if you haven’t).

Enjoy your weekend!

James

Landon Trine liked an update for Kingdom of Dreams

Happy Friday! Like many Inksharians (is that what we’re called?), I’m scattered, smothered, and covered kinds of busy with my day job and helping out with my soon to be one year old son.

But I have had requests to put more chapters up, and... the dude abides! I have the Prologue and Chapters 1-5 up and available for your reading pleasure. Feel free to comment as you will. Thanks again for everyone’s early support! In turn, I’m going to try to peruse and recommend other drafts, etc. this weekend.

      Hi Tabi,

I love the concept here and I’m looking forward to reading it!

Here’s my tiny critique of the project page: The images are so large it takes a lot of scrolling - I would recommend making them smaller. There’s no story synopsis right now. Lastly, please give the motivation for a rise in crime: is the welfare program not enough for a good living, are people just greedily looking for more, is there just a general drug epidemic perhaps driven by a cultural malaise, or something else I haven’t thought of?

I’m looking forward to that first chapter,

Landon Trine liked an update for Not Afraid of the Fall

        Hey there,

I wanted to update you as we begin this publishing process with Inkshares. I couldn’t be more excited to work with the energetic, enthusiastic and down to earth team here at Inkshares. These people are...awesome. I am working rigorously on getting the Not Afraid of the Fall manuscript primed and ready for submission for the editing team.

**A note to anyone considering writing in the future--Just type it. Handwriting is therapeutic and builds commercial-ready hand muscles, but the transcribing of journals covered in sand, beer, Thai mosquito corpses, food crumbs and blood...is no easy feat. I didn’t have this luxury as this story was created on rough boats, smooth trains, wild hitchhiking rides and bumpy prop planes. **

I cannot wait for you guys to read this memoir and feel free to continue sharing with friends and family!

This is just the beginning folks.

        Cheers,

        KJ
