Wednesday night I headed over too Berkeley for the Trekonomics signing event. Had a great time listening to people talk Trek and got to meet the author himself. Very inspiring to meet a very successful Inkshares author. Even got my copy Signed!

    Hi all,

haven’t been in touch for 2 weeks, but it doesn’t mean i haven’t been working. 616 orders we are, with 28 days to go (wow). This is where I need you all to step up, we are only 134 orders short of 750 --never thought I would be saying this (!)
So, please please, forward this pre-order link https://goo.gl/3bTKYB to all your friends. I will donate 3.5$ from every order to the kids at Norwood UK (who really need it) and you get to send me off to Inkshares full publication, g-d willing...
Inkshares fellow authors, if you have extra credits to toss at the cause - I will be grateful just the same.

I thank every single order, they all count. But also wanted to mention Josl, Judith, Ora and Daniella, all placed generous multiple orders.

Once you’ve done with me, please take the time to check my dear friend Evan Graham’s Tantalus Depths, an excellent SciFi novel worthy of your attention. Evan is actively helping me, and had written a fantastic novel - so I wanted to mention him as well.

Finally, it is no secret that for EURO 2016 as always I back the Azzurri (Americans look it up - sorry).. But interesting (and not easy) days are upon us here in England with current events and also the potential Brexit.
So while you all go out there to promote my book (a dash of wishful thinking) join me all with a BIG Hurrah to the Lions in white!! Go England!

Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for Destiny Imperfect

        Greetings Destiny-followers,

When the going gets tough, the tough go to Thailand. The top of the contest leader board is sure getting crowded. Despite this pressure, Destiny Imperfect has a hot date with a cold beer on a tropical island beach! But why run? Stay and fight, Destiny Imperfect, I hear you implore. Destiny Imperfect is no slacker, but Destiny Imperfect is also a book of its word. And Destiny Imperfect is to be ‘best man’ at a most excellent friend’s wedding. And, as mentioned, the prospect of cold beer is not at all unappealing.

So what am I going to do while I am temporarily internet-lite? Well I’m going to toss you all the keys to the hot rod and see where you can drive this baby! Friends, family - get them all on board (it’s a trans dimensional hot rod) and have them pre-order. If you’re following and haven’t pre-ordered yet, come on in, the water’s fine! It would be fantastic to see the book still hovering around the top 3 by the time I return; hungover, sunburned and jetlagged (not everything about tropical islands is glamorous). Follow the link and share the love!

        Cheers,

        Peter

I got my first pre-order! I know, I know, it’s only one but, damn it, it’s still exciting. With regards to work on the book: Chapter Two is about 25% done. The majority of my time has been spent working on the overall structure. Whilst writing the prologue, I realised that Ellie works really well as a reflection of Rishley. Both are, young, fast rising, stars in their opposing worlds. They are also inexperienced and unquestioning of many aspects of the societies in which they are immersed. With this in mind, whilst the focus of the story remains Rishley’s journey, I’ve expanded Ellie’s presence within the book. Her alternative perspective will, I think, offer more interesting insights into the world.

That’s it, for now. I’m still working hard and there should be more in the near future.
