Tantalus Depths brings readers in to the complicated world with a natural ease, diffusing the technology within to make the world seem three dimensional and real. The characters seem to fit easily inside the narrative. All of these elements combined make for a story I look forward to reading.

I was one of the lucky few who got to read this book early on. I loved the strong female protagonist and the plot line that was both thought provoking and engaging. The originality and suspenseful mystery of this planet kept me reading all day and into the night until I had finished it. Now I would love to see a sequel, and perhaps a book series, and then, on to a tv show! More, more, more!

Combining the immense scope of Mass Effect with the grittier, grounded, hard sci-fi feel of Alien is like a dream come true. Not since Lem's "Solaris" has the idea of a planet-sized intelligence so intrigued me. What an absolutely uncanny, unfathomable universe we live in, where creative minds like Evan Graham's can conjure stories from the dark unknown spaces between stars... I can't wait to see where his story leads. I don't consider myself the most-avid among avid sci-fi readers, but the mystery of "Tantalus Depths" has caught all my attention. It's worth yours too.
