The following is merely an observation that is based on fact:
The pre-order train has been derailed, not completely. The wheels are still on their metal tracks, but sales have ceased. There has not been one pre-order in the last four days. Observation terminated.
You have come to know me pretty well from my posts, and once again, I have not given up hope. My test t-shirt design will be coming in this week, and I could not be more happy to wear my story proudly.
I will only give out the shirt to a reader chosen at random when I hit 300 pre-orders and not one order before that. Before what? Well, before, when I said, just look back a couple sentences.
I will say once again, and I can not say it any less. To every single person who has ordered a book or more, my warmest thank you. I am still delirious on how much love this story of mine has received.
It still needs more though. Please tell everyone you can about U-Turn At Next Synapse. You never know, maybe those first two people could care less, and that fourth person is too busy dealing with their obese cat (The third person ran by too fast for you to get to them)--that fifth person though, they listen. They themselves are a writer perhaps, and they look into Inkshares, pre-order my book, and start the process of pushing their own work they have been holding under their cowl for over a decade. We have to all get to that fifth person, because person four will be dealing with that feline for a while. My god, it looks like a small ottoman...with legs. Wait, ottomans have those.
Checkmate and Rummy Dear Gladiators.
And for all those who are reading this and have not taken the U-Turn yet, then it is time to
Well, I did it again. I really cannot believe, uggh. I wrote a detailed post on everything and it is GONE. Why? Why? Maybe I should just say good---
The day is approaching, much like Greyhab going after the illusive Moby Tom&Harry. A bit obscure and I feel that I have my phrases off.
October 30th marks the day where all Inkshares books will cost 20$ to pre-order.
Now, I feel that a lot of you read my synopsis and think, two timelines, yea it sounds cool, but what does that mean. Here, see what I see...
Now there you go. Does that make more sense Jana (Jana is one of a hundred great writers I have met)? Cool. Two different timelines represented in separate fonts and even different perspectives, both written simultaneously. Would have been a lot easier if I wrote them separately and spliced them together. Tis a bitch that my mind does not work under those parameters. There is something missing on page 4, better fix that. No, you are looking at 94, I go back repetitively. Please do not shake your head John Robin (Oh-ho, the GodKing himself, check out his E P I C!)
Now, for something FUN!
And what exactly is that? I am glad you asked Brien (In this scenario, I am referring to Brien Shores: another Inkshares author, a damn funny one at that). This is what can happen when you toy around with your friend's design studio for their company, CEOtees, at 4:00 AM. This is my story, two timelines with one man racing for his life, and the only constant: the U-turn signs dead ahead.
Thank you everyone for all the help in getting me this far. For all those who are reading this, let's say yo-- you grab another copy or more (Three or more at one time and your name will be printed in the back), each one of you...
If I hit 300+ copies sold before Oct. 30th, one person chosen at RANDOM will win their very own shirt above. Plus, you get to choose your own color! And my buds; the CEO's have dozens to gawk over.
Realize too that you haven't even got to the orange and yellows yet. So many yellows. I will also make sure that the colors of the design match as well to your desired color, and I will send you a print for you to look over before your shirt is made and sent. You have the final say. Not bad, huh?
So, who is up to the challenge? I am looking at you JF (One of a few authors through Inkshares already published, and this is his second)! Who is ready to grab the wheel with both blistered hands and pull that thing hard, and fast. The road up ahead is slippery, and one wrong move can send you off into uncertain fear and paralysis. How bout you follow the green button below and
