Yes I’m still technically alive.No I haven’t fallen into some kind of crazy worm hole. I’ve just been editing up a storm. Busy busy busy! And now I think I’ve done all I can. Now I need your help. New cover!

We have a new cover, and it is beautiful. Credit goes to Landon Trine; I could not ask for a more fitting summation of Invictus. There’s a a few things worthy of comment:

-The double helix is artificial. This mainly reflects on the afterlife, which is a thing of our own creation. However the theme of authenticity runs strong throughout the story - in heaven, identity and appearance. The faces of those of the Inner City are a nice example: very clean and tidy, very pretty, but oh so fake. 

-The colours. The double helix is rainbow coloured! I’ll admit that this speaks to me on a personal level, but also reflects those in the story. I can’t not write LGBT+ characters, and such themes feature very heavily in certain character’s stories. Harriet, Silver and Alyx predominantly.

I’m going to stop gushing now and get back to writing. The first draft is coming along nicely, and I’m consuming far too much coffee and confectionery for my own good (even by maths student standards).

Hello, Salut Beautiful people! I am in Chicago working while working. Well I just uploaded a second chapter. As usual, your feedback is appreciated. Give it to me straight no chaser! The second show is in an hour, time to go put on my makeup!

First off, I just want to say WOW you guys are awesome!! I received a spike in pre-orders yesterday and I can’t thank you all enough for your support. Currently, I am in 3rd place but these last 8 days are going to be crucial for me to stay in the Top 3. If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, hit that pre-order button, you won’t regret it!

Also, I just realized that I hit 150 pre-orders (that’s 100 pre-orders away from reaching Quill!). I was literally in tears, sitting in lab, when I saw that number because to me, it means that there are people out there who support my project and want my story published. With all of the negativity out there in light of two police killings of black people, I hold on to these moments of happiness.
