J. Graham-Jones liked the forum thread, List of my recommendations?
Hi Inkshares staff ( @Thad Woodman @Elena Stofle etc) - I am wondering if there is a way for me to look at a list of my Inkshares recommendations? It feels like once I send one there’s no way to easily access them again. Having a page I (and my followers) can go to and see all the recommendations and reviews that I’ve written would be great.

As it is a recommendation from someone I follow only pops up in my alerts one time, and then they’re done. We can get more mileage out of this feature if they could be collected in a single place and saved, in my opinion.

Thanks for your time!

    Hi everyone!

Is it obvious by how much my knees are shaking that I’m new here? I’m not going to lie, I’m absolutely terrified to be doing this. I’ve shared my books with several friends and beta readers, but I feel as though this is the first time I’m taking it to the potential of a wider audience - not too sure how everyone deals so well with the nerves of throwing your baby in the ring.

      J. Graham-Jones sent an update for Witherfist

      Hello, readers!

I hope that by now, you will have had a notification in your inbox of something exciting: Witherfist has officially gone into ’production’. What does this mean? It doesn’t mean that the book will start printing and shipping immediately, but it does mean that Inkshares have committed to producing and distributing the books to you all. You can read more about the Quill imprint, which Witherfist has joined, on Inkshares blog.

So what’s happening now? Well, currently, I’m working on writing the book! In May, I’ll be giving the manuscript to my editor for evaluation. Some time after that, I’ll hand it over to Inkshares - who will, in their own time, deliver the book to you. I can’t be any more specific with when at this stage because I haven’t even begun to have that discussion with Inkshares, but I will certainly keep you updated as and when I have more to share.

Barring any unusual happenings, I’ll send you all an update on a monthly basis. In the meanwhile, if you have any questions, please do get in touch.

      ~ Jenny

        Hi, everyone!

Just a quick reminder that this is the LAST day of Inkshares’ The List contest! It’s my last chance to get a full publishing deal, so if you haven’t ordered yet or have someone you’ve been nagging to order, today’s the day!

Thanks so much for your support this year. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s supported my project. There’s an awful lot of this that I didn’t expect would happen: that people who weren’t obligated to be nice would like my work, that I’d end up in the running for two different contests, or that I’d manage to sell 250 copies to people who weren’t my mom. So thank you for making my dream come true! I’m thrilled to get to bring you my book.

        Happy New Year!

          Hey Campers,

I hope you are getting to spend some time with your family over the holidays. 2016 has been a life-changing year for me in many ways. I got to act in my first recurring role in the TV show Preacher, and I got my role cut from a (different) TV show for the first time. Oh yeah-AND I GOT A PUBLISHING DEAL! One thing is for certain, life has, and will always be, a roller coaster. I hope that your year had some equally awesome moments!

You know what’s really awesome? I’m 107 pages into the development edit of Sunshine is Forever. I am moving right along and should have no problem meeting my deadlines. Corin is definitely becoming a much stronger character, and this draft is very focused. I removed the sample chapters for the time being, and will post final sample chapters when we are done with all of the edits. We should have a new final cover design soon!

In the meantime, don’t forget to check out my latest interview: http://www.abqwhatsbrewin.com/single-post/2016/12/15/An-Interview-with-Kyle-T-Cowan

AND preorder Sunshine is Forever if you haven’t: https://www.inkshares.com/books/sunshine-is-forever

Tell all your friends!!!! Lots of exciting stuff is happening! I appreciate you so much! Thanks for supporting me! Stay positive, and happy holidays!

Since kicking off my crowdfunding campaign for Where the Sun Sets I’ve learned that I have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve also learned that I’m not alone. In fact, there are countless other clueless authors who are just like me!

So I’m putting together a video series -a free online resource-  called Coming Clean on Crowdfunding to help us all be a little less clueless, and a little more likely to succeed in making our dreams a reality.

Coming Clean on Crowdfunding is a series of short video interviews (3-5 min. long), where each video showcases a single author who has chosen to crowdfund their literary darling into existence.

For our first interview we’ll be hearing from the lovely Janna Grace, author of The Talkers are Talking.  Tune in to hear Janna tell us about her experience participating in an Inkshares contest, what she did wrong with her campaign, what she did right, and more.

Throughout the series we’ll be hearing from authors at all different stages in their campaign, from everywhere around the world. Should be very cool!

I’ll be posting them on YouTube HERE.

The first episode will be available later this evening/first thing in the morning. I’ll update the thread so you know when to take a peek.

If you like what you see and want to see more episodes from different authors, please subscribe! Post your comments or questions to the channel or to this thread, and please highlight the types of questions you’d like to see answered. If you have an experience you’d like to share in an episode, please reach out to me & we’ll set up a time to chat!

I hope you find these interviews as fun and insightful as I do!
