Hello all ye ten+ followers of The Last Itinerary of Jenny Song:

Thanks to Durena Burns (Hi Durena!) I have become motivated to continue writing this project, which began last year as a Halloween-inspired project about a young woman who decides to confront her fears and explore some of the world’s most haunted locations after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cancer.

Currently in the story, Jenny Song has come to Japan, and she’s settling in, getting ready to go exploring in Aokigahara, aka Suicide Forest, which I myself have had the fortune to visit (though I did not find any dead bodies therein). Will she discover the catharsis she needs? A dead body?

It’s been a while since I’ve updated you all! So, here’s the scoop!

So far, I’ve got the first three chapters self-edited. I have found so many words to cut! And I have started to see what missed opportunities I had in this draft! This is why I’m going back over it with a fine-toothed comb! I’m on chapter four now. For now, I have removed all except the first chapter from the page and will not be uploading the chapters now that they’re edited.
