Sounds interesting. Perhaps you can take some of how the Pharisees behave in the bible. If you don’t know they are religious figures that put tradition over god for their own personal gain. That would make a very good conflict for the protagonist(s) to face.

Luke Fellner sent an update for The Burned
Thank you for following me. I just finished chapter 31 and am adding more to the story than expected. I’m sorry that the sample is pretty short, here are the reasons it’s short: I was very tired when I figured out how to make one, the computer was blocking me from copying and pasting the whole chapter so I had to type it out, and it’s not a very long chapter. I hope to post the rest of the chapter and maybe the first half of the second chapter on Friday, I’d love to get feedback and any questions you have.

I love this whole sample. One thing I’d ask for is to hear what the characters are thinking in parts. I’d love to hear how the character would handle a situation. I enjoyed reading this very much.

It seems that I might be posting a little late, but it would make me very happy if my work was posted on your blog. This is my first novel and it’s so nerve-wracking!
