I’ve been spending a lot of time on The Burned lately, I may have accidentally created another main character. Evidence that a story is never truly finished.
@Pontus KarstenI just read the rest of your prologue. Great job at producing mysterious characters. I love the usage of dreams to show memories and fears in a character, I use it in some of my stories and it’s a great tool. Great job and best of luck!
@Pontus Karsten I read a good amount of your prologue. Great way to open it up and I think you did a wonderful job describing people’s appearance. One thing I would suggest is to add details of their clothing and the room they are in to set the atmosphere of the story. That’s very important to a lot of readers.
A young man is thrown into an unknown, magical world on the brink of war. Disaster and tragedy forces him and an uncanny group of allies to retake a powerful object before its holder has a chance to reignite the flames of war.
Currently trapped in a building, weather is keeping me in, but there’s free Wi-Fi so I’m going to get some work done on The Burned. I will be very active until the storm stops so feel free to ask about my books and message me while I’m here!
