Fans of "The Children of the Forest" will no doubt be excited to see activity on the page once again. Yes, there is still life in this project, despite my extended break from Inkshares. I apologize for the long drought of inactivity, but other projects have taken my attention away from updating readers and followers like I would have otherwise liked to continue doing. 

That being said, the wait was almost certainly worth it. In your inbox, readers will find 5 new chapters available for their consumption. A lot of serious development has been occurring behind the scenes on the book. I’d like to suggest that current backers along with all of my many followers who’ve yet to pre-order a copy, head over to the book’s page and check out all of my changes and updates. There are new rewards for current and future backers, which includes collectible art and pins, booklets, and more! 

Finally, the bell is tolling for the funding campaign. While the book is still some ways away from Quill, I do believe that with one serious rally, the book could very well reach its funding goal. I’ve managed to accrue a considerable amount of credits as well, so I’m more than happy to trade pre-orders with anyone currently working on getting their own work funded.

A welcome to all the new authors currently embroiled in their battle for the newest contest, Inkshare’s "Space Opera" venture! I’ve loved a lot of what I’ve glimpsed so far, and I can’t wait to back a few of the projects! 

What a contest! Such great books! Such great authors! What a great place inkshares is! 

Thank you for all of the support, it is such an honor to be in the top five out of 77 (thus far) novels! Take some time to peruse those books that don’t get as much vision as us in the top 10. There are some great stories coming in, and everyone deserves a chance. I’d like to believe that good writing and good story will give us our three winners come March 15th. There are plenty of stories not getting as much attention on here because they are less visible. I will be making recommendations soon. 

Regarding Mr. Butler:

Chapter 3 has been uploaded! More characters, the story opens in a new direction, and action continues. I will continue to upload chapters as I think they are ready. I use the blog to post entries from the journal Mr. Butler kept prior to the events chronicled in The Madness of Mr. Butler. As always, it is not necessary to read the diary in order to understand the novel; the blog is meant to be an open and free "thank you" for following my story. I hope it enhances your experience with my novel.
