Without giving away too much, dream sequences are something that is planned for the book. This character in particular is tied heavily to her past, it shapes her world and her future. So I thought it best to show her wants and desires at this moment, as it becomes increasingly more important throughout the story.

It is a formal way of speaking, there are informal speech patterns as well. Certain bits of dialog call for one or the other. It isn’t something I plan to forget.
