The time has come to assemble!

Arch-Android needs your help! More specifically it needs your pre-orders.

Now, I get it, there’s so much time left! No hurry, right? You can get to it later. But there’s a few reasons why maybe you shouldn’t?

1. You all live busy lives and as the months fall off like so many cartoon calendar pages the deadline might slip by you.
   
2. The faster we get to ’funded’, the less stress in my life and the less begging I have to do.
3. If this gets funded fast enough and with sufficient enthusiasm, we can look forward to a swift production schedule and an earlier release date!

And remember, if you pre-order and if you refer others, you are automatically entered to win a brand new KOBO eBook reader with original art on the back!

Sentients, the bottom line is that I need your help. I need you to be my army of ambassadors and to go forth across the known galaxy (y’know... Earth) and spread the word about Arch-Android. I can only reach so many people and yes, if every single one of you got one book we’d be all set instantly, but that’s not how the space station spins.

Wow... what a month it’s been.

Since the launch of A God in the Shed, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. Did a couple of local signing events, went to a convention in Utah... started writing the sequel.

While I’d love to bore you with the nitty gritty details however, this isn’t my diary. There’s new I need to share with you. News you want to know about.

Let’s start with this:

Gorgeous isn’t it? Joseph Gates of Gates of Imagination is making six of these for me. Each will have a hand written, unique secret about the story inside. You want one? Well, good news.

When I reach 100 reviews on Amazon, I’ll be raffling off one of these beautiful leather-bound copies of the book. I’ll randomly pick one of the first 100 reviewers as the winner. If I can’t get in touch with them after 48hrs, I’ll pick another. Until I have an address where to mail this beauty. So if you read the book and have a few moments, might be worth writing a short review. It doesn’t even matter if you rate it 1 star. You’re still eligible. And if you have a few extra seconds, copy and paste that review to Goodreads.

Good day my friends, human or otherwise (I don’t judge),

Oh boy... It’s finally happened. I’ve pulled the trigger on the funding campaign for the sequel to The Life Engineered: Arch-Android. (pre-order now!)

Well, it’s like The Life Engineered, but more and better. The one complaint I got about The Life Engineered that I could never really shake was how the world was intriguing but not fleshed out enough. Good news: that is exactly where Arch-Android is going. Now that I feel more confident as a writer, I feel better equipped to write a longer, more complex book about the Capek and their evolving civilization. Expect more about their universe, new characters and several familiar faces. Check out the details and book trailer (voiced by the amazing Amy Landon, who did the The Life Engineered audiobook) on the campaign page.

Well, obviously you’ll want to pre-order a copy. If you feel like doing more but can’t order a bunch of books, lend your copy of The Life Engineered to a friend and recommend that they check out Arch-Android. Let’s grow the family.

Good news Sentients!

After a few false start, the campaign is now officially up and running. (Thanks to Thad at Inkshares for helping me fix whatever was going on there. You’re the best Thad!) I can already see some pre-orders rolling in and it makes the pump that moves blood around in my veins soar with joy. The pump is equipped with artificial emotional algorithms

So here we go. Arch-Android is now funding. Pre-order your copy(copies) and tell your friends. Let’s get this campaign over with so we can get on with the business of making a book.

Friends... I have some really cool stuff to talk about.

But first, I need a favour. You get this from probably every single author you support, whether on Inkshares or on any other platform. Once we publish, we all become these strange creatures that seem to feed on one thing and one thing alone: reviews.

The arcane mechanisms that explain why reviews matter so much in books sales are difficult to explain and keep changing (thanks Amazon algorithms!) but they are always important.

So go review A God in the Shed on Amazon and/or on GoodReads. Smarter people than I say that 50 should be a good goal for now, so lets go with that. Can we do 50 reviews in two weeks? I think so.

So what other cool stuff do I have to talk about? Well, that’ll have to wait. I want to have photos.
