Alright! With the school semester officially over, I have a bit of time to play with this whole Inkshares thing. As part of this very strange project, help me choose what to write! You've got two choices.
1) Riley Rose and Time Keepers - This is a little story my 12-year-old sister and I kind of brainstormed. Set in the 1990's, the story follows Riley Rose after the untimely death of her grandmother. Riley receives her grandmother's bracelet and discovers that it gives the wearer the ability to momentarily slowdown time. It's not long before this discovery that Victor Gray, the owner of a similar bracelet, and his band of "Time Keepers" begins hunting Riley as she quickly realizes truth about her family.
2) Marta of the White Sea - This is a fantasy story set on the fictional continent of Galeos, and the Kingdom of the White Sea, where forbidden magic of the past had boiled the water, leaving nothing but white sand. The story follows Marta, the daughter of a poor blacksmith on the outskirts of the kingdom. Political unrest caused by a group of rebels leads Marta's father to prison for a crime he did not commit, and locked atop the Black Needle, a towering dungeon in the middle of the desert country. Marta, with the help of her uncle, devises a plan to release her father from prison, but a mysterious witch named Esther reveals secrets about Marta's father that may prove too painful to accept.
Leave a comment below for which one YOU would want to read most! Whichever one gets the most shout outs will be the one I will work on. And as I start each project, I will continually give you more options as to what I'll write, such as character choices, where the story will go, etc.
If you like this idea, feel free to spread the word on this project! It'll be a ton of fun and writing with a community like this is something I've always wanted to do.
Thanks and happy holidays!
Merry Christmas!
The day I didn´t think would come has arrived - thanks to all your fantastic support my book will be published!!! It´s the best Christmas gift ever and I would like to send my deep gratitude to every single one of you. Now the editing starts, and I will keep you posted on the development and when you can expect to hold the actual book in your hands.
I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, and of course, christmas cookies!
Warm hugs,
Caroline
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL & TO ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I also just wanted to thank you all for your support and patience! I know I don't post as frequently here as I should, so I apologise for that. I've been working on a lot of things writing-wise and life-wise in general, so yeah... But nonetheless, I still want you all to know that I'm very grateful and that you've already given me a great Christmas present. I hope everyone has an amazing Holiday season filled lots of love and cheer!

Hey everybody,
So it's been a big week. First and foremost, last Saturday was the first ever Inkshares Review-A-Thon. I wrote a couple of reviews for the interplanetary adventure Dax Harrison and the fairly self-explanatory Dracula V. Hitler (books you should check out if you have the chance) and then talked about writing and the publishing experiences with other Inkshares writers in a google hangout. That's right, you too can see my compete ineptitude with technology and hear me heavily breathing into a microphone by following this lovely little link:

Big thank yous to JF Dubeau, Paul Inman, and Cara Weston (whose idea this was) for allowing me to participate in such a huge way. You should definitely check out their books as well--The Life Engineered, Ageless, and She Is The End--all soon to be published on Inkshares.
Now I know many of us are or will be traveling over the next few days and those long car rides can be killer. Well, nothing passes the time quite like some good old-fashioned...er...new-fashioned audio drama. First of all, there is a little horror number I did for the 2014-15 Midnight Audio Theatre Scriptwriting Competition that went up this week. Listen to "Last Transmission" here:

Then there's the season six finale of the audio drama series I write for, Our Fair City. The episode is called Uninsurable Risk and not only does it close out another spectacular year of work on our part, but features none other than Welcome to Night Vale's Cecil Baldwin! Don't believe me? Here's my proof:

So yes, lot's of exciting things happening with more on the horizon. Until then thank you all and Happy Holidays.
