Hunter Red liked an update for Weaponized
Hey Everyone!

Wanted to let everyone know that revisions and developmental edits are in full swing on Weaponized. Right now, I’m in the midst of revising the first act of the book. Hoping to be done by the end of the week.

The final version of the story will be locked by the end of the month. While the book itself is on track to be in your hands in October.

More updates when I escape this pit of revisions.

Cheers,

Zac

Hunter Red liked an update for Near the Borderline

With a week to go and 190 orders short of the mark, it’s time to announce Last Call on the NEAR THE BORDERLINE campaign. I’ve spread notices on Facebook and had some print exposure, but have seen very little in the way of comments, reviews, or referrals in the Inkshares space, where the all-important word-of-mouth sales are made.

One final strategy is in the works: I have a number of Russian acquaintances with advanced computing skills, and well... ’nuff said for now.

Whatever happens, thanks again for your support, and I’ll keep you posted on the fate of the book.

Hunter Red liked an update for The Walls are Closing In

Another week is wrapping itself up rather quickly, and I will do the same with this update. Just a few points.

The first chapter of The Walls are Closing In was published in Inigo Online Magazine earlier this week! "Inigo Online is an international online magazine centered around people who create, invent or take risks for a project or a dream. We feature writers, artisans, poets, musicians, artists of all types, entrepreneurs, bloggers, filmmakers, foodies, fashionistas, photographers, innovators and more."

The Walls are Closing In passed the 300 order mark, and as promised, there is a new teaser trailer, made by yours truly.

      Future milestone perks!

Let’s keep the word spreading! Just two referral orders from each follower will lock this full publishing deal down. I appreciate each and every one of you!

400 Orders - Audio version of Chapter 1 - Narrated by me. We will see how my voice-over chops measure up.

500 Orders - A limited edition The Walls are Closing In postcard (design to be revealed next week) will be sent to each of the first 500 to order (tipped in upon publication for paperback orders, or mailed for e-book orders.)

      Until next time,

      Jacqui

        !!! 250 book ordered in 2 weeks !!!

This is just huge! Can you believe that? It is something terrific, folks! That is tremendous!

But just 250 is for losers. Weak. Lightweights. (Sad.) Now we need to get to 750! Believe me. You’ll never get bored with winning. You’ll never get bored! The next 2.5 months are going to be so amazing! You will love it! It’s gonna be huge!

But seriously, people - Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to everyone, who supported. And special thank you to those, who ordered 10,5,4 or 3 copies! Please help me with the next part of the journey! Please send info to others, who may be interested!

        Yey! Have a great weekend!

        Cheers

Hunter Red commented on It Was In A Coffee Shop
It’s been a month with no updates on the project.  I’ve been making good progress on getting some buzz about my project out there.  Thank you to the people who have followed my profile or my project, if not both, so far.

The reason I’m putting out an update now is that I’ve uploaded a cover for my book.  Yes, for many of you that’s not a big update, but for somebody with little to no visual artistic skill it’s a big thing for me.  I took the picture myself at a mall in my area and edited the photo on my iPad.  I just hope it’s the kind of thing that can draw peopl in.  You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but, as visual creatures, people need something that catches their eye to make them pay attention to whatever has caught their eye.

I’d like some feedback on the new cover, as well as feedback on the chapters I’ve uploaded so far.  I still have some work to put in, yes that means buzz generation, before I start the pre-ordering process.  I’m thinking I’ll start that process within the next couple of months.

Hunter Red liked an update for Fae Child

I apologize for sending you two emails in a row, but we did it! Fae Child has hit the 250+ threshold for Quill publishing!

This is going to be a real, live, book. Thank you so much - I’m in a little bit of a daze right now! I will update in a week or so with what happens after the preorder campaign is over.

            Thank you again!

Hunter Red liked an update for The Walls are Closing In

Another week of the campaign has come and gone! Knowing that The Walls are Closing In has passed the light-publishing goal and will be in your hands in the future is an amazing feeling, and reaching that milestone allowed me to take a few days to refocus and come up with advanced marketing plans.

To achieve the full goal of 750 orders, I can’t afford to slow down for long. The campaign halfway point is in a few days, and there are a couple of marketing efforts in the works. The Walls are Closing In will see some online publication attention in the coming weeks, and I will share those links as they become available.

To continue spreading the word on social media, I have started a giveaway. I invite all of you to enter for the chance to win a bundle of 5 dystopian books! All are eligible to enter in a variety of ways - those who have preordered already, and those who have not. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you again for your overwhelming support!
