Tony Valdez liked an update for How to Get Run Over by a Truck

Dear Readers,

You amazing, fantastic, beautiful humans!!! WE DID IT!!!!! WE DID IT IN 3 DAYS!!!!!! Do you know how wonderful you are? You made my dream come true today, and I am grateful beyond measure!

Today is a day of great hope. There have been far too many times in my life, and in yours I'm sure, where others have told you that my dream was impossible.  That I weren't smart enough, strong enough or good enough for my dream to come to fruition.  It happened to me while I was healing after this accident, it happened while I was pitching this book - and both times I considered giving up.  But luckily, somewhere inside of me there was this well of hope that wouldn't let me give up - and here I am living, walking and going to publish a book!

Please take a good hard look at what happened over the last three days, and know in your heart that no matter what anyone else says - there is always hope.

Also, if you have a minute, can you give yourself the BIGGEST hug. The hug is from me, and make it a good one, because I REALLY mean it.

Love,

Katie

Tony Valdez liked an update for The Problem with Prophecy

Just in case twenty people haven't already told you, we're down to the last day of the Sword & Laser Collection Contest. If you were waiting until the last minute to pick your favorite, wait no longer – the end is nigh. You must pre-order before noon PST Jan 15th for your vote to count.

That doesn't mean that this is the end for these books, however. Most of the non-winning books will continue their funding drives for several weeks, myself included. While it would be cool to get the S&L seal of approval, I think I speak for all the writers here in saying that selling 250 copies and getting in the Quill collection would be a damn fine consolation prize. So use up those credits or dig in the couch cushions. Help support one of the great writers here at Inkshares.

Tony Valdez liked an update for Deus Hex Machina

Deus Hex Machina has hit 100 readers (Actually 101 so I'll run the drawing through to that number)! It's time for another giveaway!  Congrats to...Julian Green and Finn Mcrae!

Looks like you'll have to set up a visitation schedule for your copy of Shadow of the Owl. Might I suggest every other weekend and holidays?

As a reminder, we are only three orders away from A.C. Weston's raffle of an original page from the DHM graphic novel.  We are so close! Let's do this tonight!

This time tomorrow the contest will be over.  Now is the time to vote with your preorder if you haven't already.  DHM is in 6th place right now, but I'd really love to end in the top five. Are you following the book but haven't preordered yet? Please consider doing so now.

Anyway, the contest has been amazing. I've learned that this project has merit beyond its original graphic novel origins, and have met some amazing writers here at Inkshares. To all of you, my deepest thanks.

Tony Valdez liked an update for To Kill a King

16 pages into the new scene. I was supposed to be done today. But it grows as I write it. A new character materialized in the story from no where.

The end looms near, both for the revisions and my crowdfunding here.

I am still determined to continue towards publications. Updates will continue and so weill my work with http://www.storyperfectediting.com/

Made it to 70 readrs today. WooHoo! Thank for the continued love and supprot.
