Robert Batten liked an update for In Beta

Daniel H. Wilson, New York Times bestselling sci-fi author of ROBOPOCALYPSE, just gave IN BETA a glowing endorsement!

Elon Musk thinks we’re living inside a video game, and this novel is primed to run with that notion and then some. This is an awesome high concept paired with a brilliant proven quantity in Prescott Harvey — dude, sign me up as an IN BETA-tester!

Daniel is one of my favorite sci-fi authors AND he’s super handsome (see below). Thank you Daniel for the vote of confidence!

Robert Batten recommended Asteroid Made of Dragons
Asteroid made of dragons kept me excited and engaged from cover to cover. It sucks us into a deep, complex world and spins an epic tale with characters you can't help but love. This is a world that is screaming out for more stories.
    Asteroid Made of Dragons
A preposterous fantasy crisis with resolutions remarkable and losses lamentable. May contain minotaur tea parties.
Robert Batten liked an update for Tantalus Depths

Don’t forget! From now until the 22nd, you can download your free "thank you" copy of my short story The Perspective Machine right here.

When a secret society dedicated to perfecting humanity’s flaws develops a machine capable of granting one person full omniscience, they believe they hold the key to mankind’s salvation in their hands. The mentally handicapped brother of one of their members seems to be the perfect subject to receive the machine’s power...but is he? What will become of the world when the power of a god falls into the hands of a man?

And keep the support coming in for Tantalus Depths! I have ideas for some new rewards to dole out to my supporters in the future, so stay tuned for more on that.

Robert Batten liked an update for Squids In

      Hey Guys,

Today’s going well. My son got me a great Fathers Day gift and I got the octopus on my first attempt at a Buzzfeed "Which Finding Dory Character are you" quiz...

Also I recently created a Facebook page for my book SQUIDS IN - https://www.facebook.com/SQUIDSINBOOK/

If you like the book, please head on over and like the Facebook page too. You might even find some behind the scenes stuff there too.

SQUIDS IN is still 5th in the Nerdist contest, but 6th place is only 4 pre-orders behind, so your help to stay infront would be greatly appreciated.

Robert Batten liked an update for Destiny Imperfect

        Greetings Destiny-followers,

Destiny Imperfect is taking time out from its hectic Thailand best man duties and wishes to thank you all for the support over the last few days. Firstly, we are at 97 readers (101 pre-orders – yay!). It would be absolutely fantastic to crack the 100 readers as soon as possible. So if you’re in the position to do so, a pre-order would be great!

Destiny Imperfect would also like to give an enormous thanks to Evan Graham and his awesome book Tantalus Depths! Evan dug deep and did some heavy duty referring for Destiny. You are the man, Mr. Graham! If you haven’t ordered Tantalus Depths, get on over there and get an order in.

I’d also like to give a shout out to a couple of my competitors in the Inkshares/Nerdist contest. There’s only room for two of us in the top three (first having long since ridden off into the sunset), but if these two kick my butt, then we’re in for a treat. Alisa King’s Are You Sure You Want to Quit is making Destiny’s life tough at the top. And why not? It looks like a gem – check it out and pre-order. And an early favorite of Destiny’s, Matthew Poat’s Squids In, is also worth pre-ordering.

Anyway, thank you all very much! Let’s get out there and try to hit the hundred reader mark! Destiny Imperfect will do its best to lend all the support it can! Right after this next beer …

        Cheers,

        Peter
