Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for Sunshine is Forever

Happy Thursday Campers!

We have crossed the halfway point! As it stands now, there are 383 preorders placed! FANTASTIC! BUT I still have a long way to 750...AND I am at the end of my network. I NEED YOUR HELP!

In lieu of a new chapter, this week, Jamison Stone, author of Rune of the Apprentice, asked me to do a guest blog post about why I chose InkShares as a distribution platform for my book. You can read my blog post here: http://apotheosisstudios.com/blog/2016/8/24/sunshine-is-forever-guest-post-by-kyle-t-cowan

If you haven’t preordered the book yet, you should! I could really use your support!

PREORDER NOW: https://www.inkshares.com/books/sunshine-is-forever

Here are some ways you can help me get to 750 preorders:

1) You can preorder a second copy of the book to give to a friend.

2) You can invite your Facebook friends to preorder the book via this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1228625917161072/

3) You can directly ask someone to preorder the book.

4) You can ask family members to preorder as well. Every preorder counts.

These are just a few ideas! Your support means the world to me! Getting to 750 preorders is so important! I can’t do it without you!

Thank you so much for everything! Now, upwards to 750 preorders!

With love,

Kyle T. Cowan

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for An Unattractive Vampire

    Dear Readers,

Or should I say...Listeners? For behold, thanks to the magic of Inkshares and Drew Campbell’s British accent...

An Unattractive Vampire is on Audible!!!

Thank you to everyone at Inkshares, Audible, and Mr. Campbell for making this happen.

So I know you’re all thinking: "Jim, I need this for my sound holes, but money has decided (literally) to see other people right now." Well, here’s a thing: Audible sponsors just about every podcast in existence. They offer so many deals and promos, it’s kind of ridiculous. For example: Lore podcast, Hardcore History, and Blurry Photos all offer trial codes. So yes, listen to awesome inspiring podcasts and when you’re done, listen to my book as well.

Also, just a reminder that the Dragon Awards are quickly approaching, so time is running out to VOTE for Inkshares/Sword and Laser books including The Life Engineered, Asteroid Made of Dragons, and, of course, An Unattractive Vampire which also all happen to be available in e-book for the special low-low price of 99 cents until the end of the month. (Completely coincidental, I assure you. *WINK*) So please, vote for An Unattractive Vampire because what could be better than mixing vampires and dragons?

This is just a thing of general curiosity - does anybody else have writing playlists?

I have one playlist for general writing and then occasionally make ones for specific moods or characters - I’m curious to know if anybody else does the same thing!

the man formerly known as Arlas was now a fish. A resplendent one with lovely colored fins. And as he swam up and down in the river he realized that he fancied it a lot more than being a tavern bouncer.

There was something unnatural in the way he moved through the place. And there was a distinct smell of Order about him that made most beings of Chaos cringe.

I like this - sets the tone immediately and tells you a lot about the character and the place he’s in.
