I spent Saturday and Sunday with Mission Uprising at Spring Hill Camp for their annual Father Son Camp. I had the opportunity to promote The Birds Road and also offered a flintlock rifle demonstration. It was great being in the woods again with the people who encouraged me to begin sharing my experiences.
As many of you know, I make things. Some of these things are pretty cool. So, in an effort so sell pre-orders, I am starting a contest this week.
Whoever is connected to the most pre-orders (I can see who you are) over the next four weeks will receive one of my hand-stitched leather bags. These bags generally sell for $400. I will be providing updates every Sunday in an effort to inform you of our progress, but I don’t intend to further cram your already busy Inbox’s.
I have uploaded a short video to help drive interest in the project and I will be uploading further videos in the following weeks.
I have also uploaded a new chapter (Shelam) that is unedited and will upload at least one new chapter every week. The chapters that I am uploading are not necessarily in a progressive order, but are the most coherent and emotionally provocative.
I welcome your questions and suggestions that may shine a light on areas of your interest that I may be leaving out because they may have become minutia to me. If you want more of a backstory or if there is something that needs a better explanation, or is even missing, please inform me.
Pre-orders have lagged today. As expected, my circle of immediate contacts has reached its limit, but I am reaching out to further opportunities with larger organizations.
