James Rasile liked an update for And the Wolf Shall Dwell

Pop (champagne)! Hurrah! Cheers!

whooping 252 orders means that "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" will see the light of day!

I want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you that have ordered. This was an intense month+ and you guys made it happen, on to phase two, which means trying to get this book to a staggering 750 orders (!) which will get the big Inkshares oiled machine behind us promoting and pushing. doable? not sure, but i will give it everything i got.

On with the update:
(1)
#250 is Yan Liu (congrats!). She will have a character named after her that will have at least one line. #251 coming milliseconds after her is Roger Potter. Since i am a affable guy -some people now would smirk (or shout) -  Roger too will have a minor character named after him. and before you condemn me as a wise-guy, even though the novel takes place mostly in London, and Roger is a fairly common English name, there was no Roger thus far. There will be now (congrats!).

(2)
Now that the book is a fact. I urge you (if you can afford it) to order again a "Spymaster" which is 3 REAL BOOKS. This will automatically get you in the Patron List inside the book for all of eternity .
Btw - all pre-ordered physical books come signed, and whoever meets me later on with his copy (or send it to me), will get a personalized message next to the signature, so stop asking me to do it, i humbly would do all 750 copies if it gets me there ;-)

(3)
Huge thanks to Vicki Goodwin who featured "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" & Inkshares in her blog this week: https://vickgoodwin.wordpress.com/2016/04/14/new-book-publishing-concept-have-you-heard-of-inkshares/ - check out her blog, it’s fab.

(4)
There are a few books worth mentioning that are on the verge of Quill (250 orders). If you liked Inkshares, the concept & you like thrillers. Please consider ordering Louisiana Blood by Mike Donald. An excellent thriller, trust me I’ve read some of it.

That’s it for now.. very excited here and again huge thanks to all... to celebrate I have two baths to run and diapers to change (LOL just kidding) ..
keep sending it to people you know - let’s shoot for 750 with your amazing help. You guys rock!

x
- Joni/Jonathan/Yoni/Jon anyway you want it tonight is fine by me.

    Hi all!

There are a few thing i would like to talk with you about in the weekend update...

But ! First thing first. This is now your chance to be the lucky guy who will shoot the book to being published as we are standing at the moment (Saturday 6:39 London time) on 249 orders!

*** In fact to get you guys ordering - lucky 250 will have his name featured in the novel as a minor character! so i will have to tweak things around (as i said it is already well written). ***

I will come back to update as soon as this happens!

    x

James Rasile sent an update for Cape’s Side Bay

      Hey everyone, happy Saturday!

Today’s a big day for me, it’s the friends and family screening party for my first feature. I’m getting anxious, not so much nervous, but anxious. Really looking forward to it!

Before I get into anything on Cape’s Side Bay’s end, I wanted to give a special shout out to Tabi Card for putting together this sweet new cover for Cape’s Side! If you haven’t already please check out her work, Scribbles: A collection of words, which is funding now and Project Human. They’re both great and I think you’ll enjoy them!

And, WOW WOW you guys are the best! Over 31% to light-publication!!! This is incredible! Who knows if we will make it that far, but I’m getting exciting. The campaign is a long long road ahead and your support will continue to be needed to help reach the goal. That being said, you’re all flipping amazing!

      And lastly!

      MUGS!

As mentioned above and yesterday today is a friends and family screening of my first feature film: Out There. Also as mentioned yesterday we are raffling off some of the mugs (pictured in previous update) from the film!

The first will go to all of you who have already pre-ordered. Then another will be given away to the next 10 pre-orders will be entered into a raffle for 1. And then the next 15 pre-orders will be entered into a raffle for another 1.

Let’s spread the word of Cape’s Side Bay and get it to where it needs to be to become a published novel. Which in ten years you will be able to see someone read and say “hey, flip to the back. See that? That’s my name."

"When are you going to shut up about that other book and go back to writing about robots!?!"

That’s a question that I haven’t had from anyone yet. Honestly I doubt I ever will because my supporters are ’super rad’ as the kids are saying. However, I will be talking about ’that other book’ here because...

Only 6 more days before the end of the campaign for A God in the Shed!

In 6 days I’ll be celebrating the end of this journey either as a success or a failure. This is why I pulled out these two bottles of whisky:

The first is the one from which I’ll be drinking if the campaign doesn’t fund. It is made from distilled sadness and the ashes of failed projects. The second is one of my favourite scotches and has a deep peaty flavour that I adore.

Let’s make sure I drink from the second bottle. Here’s what’s in it for you and for those you encourage in pre-ordering A God in the Shed:

          • Each pre-order enters you into the ‘I want to kill a reader’ raffle. The winner will have his name and likeness used in the book as a minor character that gets killed off. The author will work with the winner to find the appropriate means of demise to satisfy both the winner and the story.
          • Each physical copy of A God in the Shed will be signed and numbered as an exclusive first edition item.
          • Free, exclusive A God in the Shed bookmarks will be included with the physical copies and mailed to eBook supporters.
          • Orders of three or more copies guarantees your name to appear in the Patrons list printed at the end of the book.
          • You get to enjoy the satisfaction and pride at having supported both art and literature.
So go pick up a copy of A God in the Shed and force all your friends and family to do the same. It’s for a good cause.

And while you’re at it; pick up a copy of Pilot X by Tom Merritt. Tom (amongst others) has been very good to me in my career as a writer and Pilot X is a rad book. Check it out.

Thanks for the support. You’re all amazing guys/gals/sentient mechanical intelligences.

Including today, we have six days left to fund this project.

Fortunately, we only have 55 more copies to pre-order and we’re in the clear. You guys have been fantastic in the past two weeks. The response to my call for support has been tremendous and I feel like we can do this.

The next few days are going to be very important. In six days, I celebrate the end of this campaign, whether it is a success or a failure. I’ve already pulled out the bottles of celebratory whisky. The results of the campaign will decide if I’ll be drinking from the first bottle, or the second.

If you haven’t already, help make sure I drink from the second bottle. It’s got a smokey, peaty flavour I really enjoy and also isn’t made from distilled sadness and concentrated failure.

Here’s a reminded of the incentives to help convince the last few of you who haven’t pre-ordered or that you can use to convince others:

            • Each pre-order enters you into the ‘I want to kill a reader’ raffle. The winner will have his name and likeness used in the book as a minor character that gets killed off. The author will work with the winner to find the appropriate means of demise to satisfy both the winner and the story.

            • You get to enjoy the satisfaction and pride at having supported both art and literature.
You guys are so awesome, it’s kind of scary.

              The Second Coming Of Hell
An end of days fantasy where the Bible is misleading Christians and the Messiah is a fallen angel in disguise! Humanity is caught in the cross hairs of their twisted plot. Can a sorceress, a vampire, and a fighter with an unknown power stop them?

              Greetings Jackolytes,

Sync City continues to burble along nicely and there’s still time to jump on board before the funding process is done in ten days time. For those of you that are following but have yet to pre-order this is the link for you: Sync City Come on in, the water’s fine!

And speaking of fine, there’s a fine book out there written by a fine man that could do with a nudge in the 250 direction. Mike Donald, a screenwriter by profession, has produced an absolute gem in Louisiana Blood and is 19 days away from his funding period finishing. He needs 29 more pre-orders. 19 days, 29 pre-orders. I can’t think of a better place to put your cash this weekend. Beers may come and go but a book is forever. Hit this link: Louisiana Blood  and bring a damn good book to life.

               Cheers,

               Peter
