sent an update for Tears of Venus

Hi everyone. Just a quick update.  Although the first winners of the 2020 All-Genre Manuscript Contest have been announced, it’s not over yet. Between now and May 1st, Inkshares will be looking at the other entrants and may select additional  winners. They said they will rely heavily on the nomination feature to help in their determinations. If you haven’t nominated Tears of Venus yet, I would love your support. All you need to do is log into Inkshares and click the "nominate" button on my page. You’ll be asked a few questions such as what books TOV is similar to and why you think it should be published.

Here is the link to my page: https://www.inkshares.com/books/tears-of-venus

Thanks everyone!

    Hello Everyone,

Well, the 2020 All-Genre Manuscript Contest has come to a close and Beyond the Masquerade came in a 8th place. Pretty good considering there were more then 300 entries but, unfortunately, not good enough for the prize.

I am still proud of the position it reached and I would like to thank all of you who decided to take a chance on my work and a special thanks to the Break the Bechdel Syndicate for selecting Beyond the Masquerade. It was a big help in getting as far as it did.

The campaign is still up and running so, if you haven’t already, give it a follow and share it around. Every little bit helps.

    Thanks again for your support.

      Dear readers,
So we ended up with fourth place yesterday, and I’m very happy about that, even though we didn’t win.
A fellow reader informed me that they are choosing additional books for publication, so stick tight, and we will see where we end up.
Thank you for sticking with me all the way.
Stay tuned for updates to TMW!

Hello again readers. Sorry for messaging you all twice in one day! Earlier today a fellow writer let me know that Inkshares is still evaluating all the manuscripts and may select more winners. So there’s still a chance we could be selected for publication! Tears of Venus will remain on Inkshares and in the meantime I will begin working on adding some new scenes to the story based on feedback I received from some of you.

        Thanks,

        Nicole

          liked an update for Infodemic
WE DID IT!!! Thanks to your support, Infodemic came in second in the 2020 Inkshares All Genre Contest! We finished number 2 out of 383 entrants, which means that the novel will be published.

I am very grateful to all of you for the support and enthusiasm. Like the editors who contribute to the fictional Infopendium, this was definitely a team effort :) So thank you!

WHEN WILL YOU GET YOUR BOOK?
Inkshares estimates that the publishing process takes at least nine months. A few books have been delayed due to COVID-19. I will keep you posted.

In the meantime, I will be working with a team of professionals on the manuscript itself as well as the marketing to give Infodemic the best launch possible. Also, Inkshares is known for securing audiobook/film/TV deals for its properties, and I’m certainly excited about that possibility.

HOW CAN YOU CONTINUE TO HELP?
Infodemic can continue to take Pre-Orders, which will help with hitting bestseller and other industry benchmarks. Tell your friends to reserve their copy on the Inkshares page.

Hello Readers. Unfortunately, Tears of Venus finished the contest in 5th place and only the top 3 books were selected for publication. It is still a great accomplishment considering there were 382 submissions! I really appreciate all of your support. Anyone who preordered will get their money back in the next two week (I will confirm timing on this with Inkshares). The journey to publication isn’t over, though! I am going to pull Tears of Venus from Inkshares and work on getting a literary agent. Follow me in Instagram at @nicole_sampson_writer for updates.

            Thanks again for your support!
