Fernando Crôtte sent an update for Mission 51

Hello everyone! Hope your week is going smoothly, and that you’re reading and writing away!

I’m working on yet another pivotal chapter, this one called "Roswell Revisited." I have it mostly outlined now, so I just need to fill in the blanks. Some of the coolness includes Dr. Linda Deltare’s first look at the dead alien and his spaceship in Roswell, AND... her very first glimpse of her assignment, Mat!

Peace, y’all!
Ferd.  :-)

    Hello Team PoM!

I’ve been typing and editing like a madwoman, but loving every minute of it! This book is the book I’ve wanted to write for years, and every time I sit at my computer, I get chills. It probably doesn’t help that its cold in my house and I need a sweater, but I like to think its something more intrinsic that makes me shiver.

In any event, I’m working hard, and thought I’d say thank you so much to those who have pre-ordered the book! I’m so excited for you to read it. Plausible Hard Science Fiction has been a passion of mine since I read Contact as a kid years ago, and since I have a science background its pretty fun to meld what I know is fact with stuff that just doesn’t exist yet, but probably will because it would be awesome and there are a lot of really smart people out there that could make it happen.

Keep your eyes peeled, Chapter 2 and 3 are forthcoming! Cool stuff happens, including the introduction of some new characters, some major conflict, more dinosaur info than you could possibly ever want (I don’t believe that for a second though!), and a cool piece of tech that hasn’t been quite invented yet, but should, because its awesome. My vert paleo friends would LOVE this thing. Seriously. It would make everything so much more easier.

    Excelsior folks!

Just in time! I just finished a decent draft of "Transformation," right before midnight, still technically the weekend as promised!

It was difficult material to write, but it adds an unusual twist, and it will work nicely into my diversity message as well as into the sub-theme of change.

And now, finally, on to aliens! :-)

        Hello all!

        Things are going great!

I’m happy report that, thanks to your support, First on Mars is currently in fourth place in the contest! I’d like to thank the excellent Joanna Lynn Brosius Chaplin for leaving the first review! I take it as a huge compliment.

First on Mars is facing some excellent competition, and there’s still one month left in the contest, so there’s a of work to do. You can help by recommending or leaving a review (there’s a banner on the bottom of the page while you’re reading the draft). You can also just highlight some text that you really like. I’m really excited about this project and I hope you are too.

Lastly, if you’re new to Inkshares and looking for other books to order/pre-order, here are some to look at (I could list many more, but that’s it for now):

        •  JF Dubeau’s book, "The Life Engineered",
        • Michael Haase, "The Madness of Mr. Butler"
        • Mike Mongo, "The Astronaut Instruction Manual",
        • Tabi Card, "Scribbles: A Collection of Words",
        • Kelsey R Barthel, "Beyond The Code",

         Thanks again!

          Hey all,

I’m progressing toward the end of chapter 4, and am super excited to share it with you. As a gentle reminder, all chapters shared from this point on will be exclusive for those who have already preordered.  Want to find out what happens to Isidore in the Archive? Order today to find out!

Yesterday I started a little fun Pinterest board about Isidore RAM, check it out here: https://www.pinterest.com/amandaorneck/isidore-ram-character-profile/ Once I’m done with my cold (started yesterday so hopefully will be over by the end of the weekend) I will dive in and make others for the rest of the main characters.  It’s a lot of fun. What do you think? Anything missing I should add?

Anyway, I’m going to go find a cup of tea for my throat. Have a great weekend hexers!

            Tabi,
I "liked" your last update, but only because there isn’t a "love  it" button! Great job on the video! Really!!
I would be way too chicken to ever try that.
