Mission 51 is coming along nicely! I am working on the chapter where Deltare gets her first glimpse of the alien. Among the closing lines of the previous chapter:

“And now," Smith announced, “let’s go see the dead alien. That will be a good prep for the live one you’ll be meeting tomorrow.”

Officer Smith said that as if it was a normal thing to say. But it wasn’t normal, Henry/Deltare thought...

Well, I guess Deltare is entitled to her opinion, but things will change!

whooping 252 orders means that "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" will see the light of day!

I want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you that have ordered. This was an intense month+ and you guys made it happen, on to phase two, which means trying to get this book to a staggering 750 orders (!) which will get the big Inkshares oiled machine behind us promoting and pushing. doable? not sure, but i will give it everything i got.

On with the update:

 #250 is Yan Liu (congrats!). She will have a character named after her that will have at least one line. #251 coming milliseconds after her is Roger Potter. Since i am a affable guy -some people now would smirk (or shout) -  Roger too will have a minor character named after him. and before you condemn me as a wise-guy, even though the novel takes place mostly in London, and Roger is a fairly common English name, there was no Roger thus far. There will be now (congrats!).

Now that the book is a fact. I urge you (if you can afford it) to order again a "Spymaster" which is 3 REAL BOOKS. This will automatically get you in the Patron List inside the book for all of eternity .
Btw - all pre-ordered physical books come signed, and whoever meets me later on with his copy (or send it to me), will get a personalized message next to the signature, so stop asking me to do it, i humbly would do all 750 copies if it gets me there ;-)

Oh, glorious Saturday!

Yesterday was one of the proudest days in my life; Seeking the Elephant was chosen as Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate’s book of the month for April! I really wasn’t sure what kind of chance we possible had, Seeking the Elephant is a relative newbie to Inkshares, and we’re less than 3 weeks into our pre-order campaign. The was amazing, and I want to thank the Janna Grace & the Syndicate! 

"Molisani’s Seeking the Elephant is not only a wonderful story with ghosts and ancient gods in a post-apocalyptic America, but we explore this world through the eyes of a female character you’ll never forget. She is fully developed, flawed and strong, and will draw you in from the first page."

Now, to celebrate! I promised, earlier in the week that I would write a short-story, set in the universe of Seeking the Elephant, specifically as a thank-you gift for the members of Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate. Jealous? Well you should have been a member! 

No, I’m not that mean! I will ALSO give this story, once complete, to ANY pre-orders who come in this weekend! I’d love to 8 more sales before Monday so we can hit an even 80 orders! So jump in quick folks! Help us celebrate this wonderful weekend NOW! 

 

Hey Everybody, I’m very happy to report that we have surpassed the 250 pre-orders necessary to enter the Quill collection.  This means that Teas of the Assassin will be published.  I am so very grateful and thankful for all the support you have given me.  Your faith in this book has propelled it to be published and soon it will be in your hands to read. I sincerely thank you for your generous investment in this project. You have helped me develop as an author.

Next steps: The campaign continues for another month, ending May 14th.  At that time the book will go into production and when the process is complete all orders will be filled. As soon as I have a solid date of publication I will let you know.  In the meantime I will use these updates to keep you informed about the progress that is being made in the production of the books.  

I’m really excited about what comes next even though I’m just learning as I go along. The opportunity  to publish this novel is all thanks to you and I want everyone to know how much I appreciate the support you have shared with me for Tears of the Assassin. Thank you.
