James Rasile liked an update for The Knightmares

Hello to all you Knightmarish fans out there.

Firstly, thank you to those people who have stepped up and ordered a copy. I wholeheartedly appreciate it.

Still, I realize I am far behind the pace I need to be in order to hit my goal of 250. Everything changes at 250. A listing on Amazon. An ISBN number. My skills as a marketer will be going into a state of quantum super explosion once that happens. Until then I am at the mercy of crowd-sourcing and trying to find new (and increasingly difficult) ways to increase sales.

One such way will be kicking off shortly, as my dear friend and amazingly talented artist, Rachel Perciphone, will be starting to put her amazing touch to some new cover art! Check out her Facebook fan page, and I’m sure you’ll be impressed as much as I am over her work. Rachel and I have been discussing this for quite some time now, and she is the ONLY person who has read most of the book in its completion and has given me nothing but high praise, and that’s big coming from someone who is such a huge fan of current authors, movies and TV shows that have also inspired me.

So, keep your eyes peeled for that as updates will be flying fast and furious (and please, no Tokyo Drift. Ever.).

Now onto my next announcement. As I hope ALL of you have read my introduction to THE KNIGHTMARES, there’s a little thing called SCALES I’d like to discuss.

Way before there was a "Marvel Cinematic Universe" and the like, I had an idea that all my written works were somehow connected, and not always in obvious ways. Like the balancing plates on a weighing scale, all good and evil must be held in perfect equilibrium.

What does this all mean, you might ask? (Please ask, because otherwise I just wasted twenty minutes of my time writing all this hornswoggle (Yes, I just used hornswoggle (Yes, I also just used a parenthesis within a parenthesis.).).) It means that I am three-quarters through the first draft of the next story in the SCALES anthology, called VEXED.

Neat name, huh? It’s got a V and an X. It’s going to blow the box-office away when the movie gets made.

VEXED has been a very personal story for me to write, which is why it has taken me so long to write it. Trust me, it’ll be worth it, and when the time comes I will start posting it online somewhere. Maybe here, IF WE CAN SELL MORE BOOKS.

I smell a rally coming on...
