Great point @Robert Batten re: making reviewing more obvious - since they are the only comments that people who come from outside Inkshares.
They could also just put the recommended comments into the "what the critics are saying" area, too - most people wouldn’t think to hover over the little profiles next to ’recommended by’. Of course, then that basically makes the recommends the reviews but, then, they kind of are anyway...

Wow, I’m a little misty-eyed and I can’t think of the words to say.  Thank you just feels inadequate.  Super thank you.  OH!  And the price for a hardcopy is dropped to 14.99 per each.  If you were looking for that break, here it is!

It definitely seems like they’d be ok with you putting it up on inkshares @Robert Batten but I’ve noticed details like this will change without the contestants being notified in some instances. Make sure to check it every now and then.

Robert Batten liked the forum thread, Write Out Loud looking for submissions and supporters
        Hi

The Write Out Loud Syndicate is looking for LGBTQIA authors and strong allies to join the syndicate and help us support books by LGBTQIA authors and allies featuring characters who break stereotypes.

We are a small syndicate right now but we have been growing steadily in the past months. I would love for more people to join so we can help authors get their work funded.

Regarding submissions. Write Out Loud is all about self identification, so please feel free to contact me through a private message to submit your project, or the project of someone you know (with their consent, of course)

In the message let me know if you are an LGBTQIA author or a strong ally. If you are an ally go a little deeper into what makes you a strong ally. I believe that to be a strong ally you have to go beyond just "liking" or "not discriminating" my community. Any history of activism is a plus.

Also let me know, why your book should be considered.

books currently participating in contests will not be considered.

Looking forward to hear from you!

@Diana Gorv It means that they may post your submission (the 50 pages or less) on the sites that they own or third party websites at their own discretion. I would assume that it would be done in order to promote future LaunchPad contests, illustrate how you received representation if that occurred, things to that effect.

Robert Batten liked an update for Mission 51

            Hi everybody!

Just a quick update. The Mission 51 family continues to grow, even in draft mode! I am excited to see more than 200 followers! Wow! A big welcome to all the new ones since the last update. I am so happy you are onboard!

Well, Mat is now officially on the loose! I have written his escape from a 15-year captivity in Area 51. He accomplished all he needed and wanted, and it was time for him to move on. He finally gets to experience "Cerulea" in all its glory! I look forward to you reading this someday soon.

Mission 51 is currently entered in the 2016 Launch Pad Manuscript Competition. Please cross fingers and toes that it is well received!

I am continuing to work with artists Idan Carre and Chris Pyke to add visual beauty to Mission 51. This has been a really fun part of the project!

That’s it for now. See? Quick!

            Peace and love, y’all!

Robert Batten liked an update for A Beast Requires

Two weeks in and 58 of you have so far jumped on and backed A Beast Requires! By your powers combined, you’ve pre-ordered 79 books, which is fantastic!

This week I also uploaded my first awkward author video, where I break down a bit more of A Beast Requires. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, pop on over to the campaign page. Listening to my attempt at diction makes an ideal companion to refreshing your email or checking the latest Olympic medal counts.

This week is going to be all about the push. To paraphrase the bards, Salt-N-Pepa, we’re going to "push it real good."

Here’s what I need you to do. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, random strangers on the bus, and everyone waiting for their morning latte about A Beast Requires, and why you think it’s fantastic. I know this book has been tickling funny bones and making many of you laugh, so spread that laughter like a virus. Lie in wait for them to read the sample chapters, because you know what’s coming. Will they snort? Attempt to muffle their grin? Will they burst out with a laugh from their gut that resonates the ceiling tiles? The possibilities are endless.

A Beast Requires needs to be unleashed, and we can make that happen.
