RUNE’s Two Year Crowdfunding Anniversary and a New Crowdfunding Campaign is Live!

Hello fellow Apprentices and Masters! I just got back from Baltimore Comic Con where we celebrated the 2 year anniversary of our first RUNE Booth! It was also Freya’s very first Comic Con this weekend, and yes, she is sporting a “Straight Outta Asgard” shirt! #WinningAtParenting ?

So wild, just over two years ago we started this whole crowd funding thing, and you all have been with us every step of the way! What a trip it has been! Even as I type these words, I can hear Becca and Freya laughing in the other room! From the bottom of my heart I thank you! The picture below (my first booth ever!) makes be both smile and cringe, but I have learned a lot, and look forward to many more books, booths—and maybe—babies :) But I digress...

I wish to thank all of you for making Rune of the Apprentice possible. If reading it gave you even a fraction of the joy I had writing it, then I consider it a wild success! In that vein, I also would like to humbly request that you leave RUNE a quick review on Amazon by clicking here or by going to www.RuneOfTheApprentice.com It will only take you a moment and will ensure that I can publish many more books in the future—both sequels AND prequels!

Which leads me to my next crowdfunding project called The Last Amazon and it just went LIVE! Yes, you heard right, on the 2 year anniversary of starting my crowdfunding campaign for Rune of the Apprentice I launched the crowdfunding campaign for The Last Amazon, an Epic Graphic Art Novel on Kickstarter! Yay! Go check it out by clicking here!

Fear not, fans of RUNE, for The Last Amazon is a prequel to RUNE and The Rune Chronicles. This story arc not only shows how a desperate human race got from a broken earth to the technologically majestic world of Terra, but also chronicles the birth of Terra’s creator, Numen Consciousness! I am excited beyond words for this book and so proud to be partnered up with David Granjo, illustrator extraordinaire! He is a truly magnificent artist, and now, dear friend!

David and I have so many awesome things planned for this 96 page, 9 x 12 Landscape "Graphic Novel!" Art of this caliber deserves nothing less than the highest quality of inks, printing, hardcover, and care, something which Inkshares is unable to do. To learn more about this epic project click here or go to www.TheLastAmazon.com. If you want to bring this epic near-future sci-fi graphic novel to life, please back it now!

Again, our Kickstarter is now LIVE and taking pledges! How awesome! We are so excited to share more info about The Last Amazon with you in the coming days, so stay tuned. For now I will leave you with these awesome action illustrations below and give you this warning—the fall of liberty is upon us! Beware! To learn more go to www.TheLastAmazon.com

Please support my new book today at www.TheLastAmazon.com THANK YOU!

    Friends, Readers, and Sorcerers All,

Yesterday, you should have received an email that looks like this:

Yes, it’s finally here! Many of you backed this book a year ago, and the finished e-copies have been sent at last. Physical copies will be shipping sometime in the next week or two. We put a lot of love into the finished product, and I can’t wait for you to see it.

But I need to ask for one more favor. Once you’ve read the book (or while you’re reading it, we don’t judge), if you could leave a review on Goodreads and Amazon, it will make a huge difference to us. I’m told that once a book has 100 reviews on Amazon, their algorithm makes it much more noticeable to website visitors. So that’s our goal: 100 reviews!

I can’t thank you all enough. Sorcery for Beginners is my debut novel, and it exists because of your support. I hope you enjoy it!

James Rasile liked an update for Witherfist

Hello, readers. Long time no write!

By now, you should have received an email letting you know that you’re getting a refund for pre-ordering my book, Witherfist. Sadly, this isn’t a mistake. I’ve decided not to go ahead with publishing Witherfist at this time.

Since successfully hitting funding of Witherfist in January of this year, I’ve come to a realisation. The book needs a lot of work and a lot of time before it’s in a position to hand to a publisher, let alone to send out to wonderful readers like yourself. Not knowing how long that will be, I don’t feel comfortable asking you to wait, not when you’ve already parted with your money, and so I have made the decision to request that Inkshares refund all of you.

Whether you preordered the book because you genuinely liked the story of Witherfist, or because you wanted to support me, either as a friend or as a fellow author and Inkshares community member, I’m incredibly grateful. Having so many people rally behind this book - and me - really was amazing. You’ve all given me the confidence to share my writing with the world, and I can’t thank you enough for that.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Please let me know if you have any issues receiving your refund.

         ~ Jenny

James Rasile liked an update for The Knightmares

          Hello Knightmares!

I am long overdue for an update. Forgive me, because I have news.

The Knightmares will be starting the production process soon! I have been contacted by the powers-that-be and things are moving forward. HOWEVER, in order to proceed, I need to cut the word count of my manuscript. The amount of words I need to cut will be quite an ordeal.

At first I viewed this as a setback, but as I began combing through the material once again, I see this as a positive. Stepping away from the project for the last year has given me new perspective, not just on my writing, but an overall way to cut information that was no longer useful. This should allow The Knightmares to become leaner, and move at a quicker pace.

I cannot promise when I will be able to finish these edits, but I am doing my best considering how long everyone has waited. I have time I can take from my job to work on it, and I will do everything in my power to get it out quickly.

During this process, I will reveal the new cover design, which has a few small edits needed. It is a powerful cover, and I’m sure everyone will like it as much as I do.

Until the next time, thank you for your patience and your enduring faith in the project. Big things are coming.

          Thank you!
          G.A. Finocchiaro
