The alternating blasts of frigid and heated air were the only warning received before the fae royals swept into the throne room followed closely by their entourage. Ulin, king of Athar, rose from his seat to acknowledge them.
“And to what do I owe the honor—”
The king’s greeting died on his lips as he noticed the grim expressions worn by the monarchs. It was also noted their entourage this time was not made up of its usual members but that of armore. . .

I’ve edited Chapter Zero: The Origins of Crime and added multiple pieces of dialogue and even additional information that will change your perspective of the main characters. Ideally, I had meant to talk about Amani’s reasons and her past a bit later, but I believe this is a better approach to open up how dire her situation is from the get-go, and the interaction between Carbine and Maverick is much better than before. Overall, I’ve added to the descriptions, characters, and widened the plot to make it fluid. I hope you enjoy.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you all a quick update. I uploaded my revised prologue. I hope you like the changes! I have decided to keep my old snippets up too, for comparison purposes/critiques etc. I’m currently working on rewrites of the first chapter and hope to have that up by next weekend, possibly sooner. So keep your eyes peeled and spread the word, I’m getting closer to campaign mode and I can’t wait to see this story a reality!
