Craig A. Munro liked an update for Welcome to Deadland

Nerdist has officially announced their schedule for #Conival, their weekend long event in San Diego alongside San Diego Comic Con! This time next week I’ll be in San Diego, attending several of the events as well as prepping to participate in a panel on Sunday, July 24th, with Inkshares CEO Jeremy Thomas, and fellow Inkshares/Nerdist author Dave Barrett! The panel is at 11:30am on the main stage, and it is free to attend! So if you’re going to be in the area, make sure to stop by and hang out!

If you are unable to attend, but live in Orlando, Florida, or are able to travel to Orlando, a Barnes & Noble will be hosting a launch party for Welcome to Deadland on Saturday, August 6th, at 7:00pm! The address is 7900 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819. I’ll be signing copies and celebrating with some of the wonderful people that believed in my book, supported my dream, and helped it come to fruition.

I hope to see many of you in the very near future!

Hearken, loyal readers and supporters! For those of you who pre-ordered paperbacks, they’ve been signed and will soon be on their way! And everyone will be receiving their e-book  copies very soon...(and if the skull seems uh, weird, it will make more sense at that point in time...  or you can just read THIS!)

Craig A. Munro liked the forum thread, Non-public project behaviour
I wanted to check the behaviour regarding projects that "have not been made public yet."

I’ve hit this a couple of times when looking at the profiles of people who have followed me - I go to look at their own books only to receive the "this book has not been made public yet" message.  See below:

Looking at the writer’s profile I see a link to their draft book:
I click on the book to check it out and bounce to the home page with this banner message:

        My question is:

If a book hasn’t been made public yet by the author, is it ok for it to show up in the authors list of books (is that desired behaviour)?

If the answer to (1) above is yes, then wouldn’t it be a better user experience to provide an indication on the author’s profile page that the book isn’t public and prevent the user from clicking on it in the first place?

Craig A. Munro liked an update for Monkey Business

Lets get right to it! Several things to share so I’m gonna go with bullet points!

          • I’m giving away some signed copies of Monkey Business on Goodreads. Giveaway ends July 18 so click here to sign up for that. Cause free stuff is the best stuff.

          • Huge thanks and shoutouts to Elan Samuel at the Warbler who posted a review of Monkey Business and he did not totally hate it! Thanks Elan!

          • We are officially dropping the ebook price to $0.99. That’s 99 CENTS! That’s literally one penny per laugh in this book. I really wanted to get 100 laughs in there but I just couldn’t do it. 99 is enough. Don’t be greedy.

Note: It hasn’t updated on Inkshares yet but everywhere else, it’s already $0.99. You have no excuse not to force your people to buy this book now. So cheap!

          • And last but not least, pretty please with freaking cherries on top go over to Amazon and leave a review of Monkey Business. I will love you.

That’s it for now. Thank you guys so much have a great day!

          - Landon
