Craig A. Munro liked an update for Rune of the Apprentice
Masters and Apprentices!  Three pieces of exciting news!

  1. Maps!
  2. Blurbs!
  3. RUNE Short Story!

1. First off, M.S. Corley, the SUPER talented artist of RUNE’s cover has just completed his digital map renderings of my hand drawn originals! These awesome images will be printed on RUNE’s hardcover endsheets! I think he did a truly fantastic job of not only preserving all details of my originals, but also adding a wonderful elegance which perfectly matches RUNE’s cover! Well done, sir!

2. RUNE’s blurbs are coming in and I am SUPER humbled by the praise. See for yourself:

"RUNE is an epic journey about transforming the darkness within so that we can achieve true peace in the world around us." --Chade-Meng Tan, New York Times Bestselling Author of Joy on Demand and Search Inside Yourself

"Jamison Stone has created a vivid world filled with rich detail unlike any I’ve ever seen before. His diverse cast of engaging characters brings his vision to life so brightly that I cannot wait for the next installment. Don’t deny yourself this guilty pleasure." --Terry Mixon, author of The Empire of Bones Saga and The Humanity Unlimited Saga

"Jamison Stone’s writing style is clear, engaging, and highly recommended! In just the first chapter alone, Rune of the Apprentice will provide immediate immersion into a mystical and mysterious world which will keep you coming back for more." --Erik A. Lenderman, author of Principles of Practical Psychology

It is profoundly humbling knowing that those who have read RUNE have enjoyed it so greatly--and it fills my heart with joy knowing that SOON you all will have the same opportunity!

3. Lastly, our short story anthology "Too Many Controllers" has been green lit with full publishing by Inkshares! My story is set in the same world as Rune of the Apprentice and will offer a truly amazing sneak peek into not only the mysterious machinations of Terra’s angelic and deific Guardians, but also RUNE’s sequel, entitled Name Redacted>;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;! How exciting!

p.s. I hope to have some additional wonderful news in the days and weeks to come, but don’t want to ruin the surprise prematurely. All in all, RUNE has an exciting ride ahead of it, and it’s all because of you! Thank you, and most importantly, enjoy!

Craig A. Munro liked an update for Destiny Imperfect

    Greetings Destiny-followers,

It’s been a little over a week since the Inkshares/Nerdist contest and I want to thank you all again for making Destiny Imperfect possible. It’s been a rollercoaster ride so far, and the best is yet to come.

I’d now like to point you in the direction of another one of the contestants. Matthew Poat put together an immense top ten performance and his book, Squids In, looks like a complete blast. I’d love to see this project come to life, and it’d be great if you could get behind this squishy cephalopod. You can find Matt’s book here.  Hit the pre-order button and embrace your inner octopus!

    Enjoy your weekend!

Craig A. Munro liked an update for Blue Water

Today I’m excited to reveal our new cover for BLUE WATER.  Our old one was designed in roughly five minutes to replace the generic cover Inkshares gives you when you start your book page.  And since everything with the first campaign was done in haste, designing a cover never really occurred to me.  The first campaign fizzled out, and the old cover just sat there.

Then we started the new campaign, and there it was still.  Boring, not eye catching, not even sized properly.  Nothing but the title giving a hint about the tone of the book, some blurry design behind it, just letting the potential reader glance past it without noticing.  And being that Inkshares is a game of getting noticed, it was doing me no favors.  And by doing me no favors, it was doing you no favors, because if it doesn’t get seen it doesn’t published, and you don’t get to read it.

So, with that in mind, I set out to design something that would jump off the screen and grab attention.  Hopefully, I’ve done that.

      Whaddaya think?

Quick note to backers who received eBook for iPad, Kindle or Nook:  Inkshares has sent a new version of the eBook because a couple of small errors were spotted after the conversion from the final digital proofs to the eBook file. If you’ve already downloaded and started to read, no worries -- I’m probably the only person who will notice anyway!! However, if you haven’t, please use the new version.

        Thanks, all!!
