Happy Satupdaturday!
Quick update to let you know how things are progressing, particularly since people keep stopping me and asking when they can get a copy of the book.
Hello everyone.
I haven't posted an update in a little while due to a cold I contracted. It knocked me out the loop for a little while, but I can happily say that I'm now back on my feet and working diligently once more on the novel. I've just posted the new version of Chapter One to the Inkshares page, which introduces our central protagonist, Fionna Cohmwell! I'm really happy with how this came out, and I can't wait for everyone to read it and share their feedback.
Looking ahead, I'm still drafting and writing out some of the remaining plot points or changes that I've made to the book(s), but I hope to have another pair of chapters; featuring Euwin Cohmwell and Silas, uploaded sometime this month. A new version of the cover is still on the way, and look for it soon. Beyond that, I will be making more of a media-blitz in the coming days, with several interviews, and a handful of con appearances. I'm really happy with how my book is taking shape, and a considerable part of that is due to all of you. Everyone who has taken the time to leave me feedback, shoot messages detailing their thoughts, and of course, supported my book with their pre-orders, has helped my story grow and evolve.
I'd like to offer a shout-out to a couple people in particular, who've really helped me out lately. Courtney Smith of "Welcome to Deadlands" and Christine Brennecke, and Jordan Shisler, of "Jadenel", have both lent me some great feedback and editing, along with Jemimah Halbert, who gave me some invaluable advice about my novel's narrative. John Robin, of "Blood Dawn", has also been invaluable, with his extensive wellspring of knowledge on the craft of writing, as well as his impressive media work.
So, read the new chapter, give me your thoughts, and look for a bunch of material throughout October. I'm going to be looking to post my con-experiences (with pictures) somewhere soon, and a final note; I've noticed that The Children of the Forest currently has 173 followers, but only 98 unique sales. I'd like to implore everyone following the account to please pre-order a copy of the book. Help me break 100 unique sales, and get closer to my goal! I'm very proud of my story, and the feedback it's been receiving has been growing stronger with every day. Now is a great time to hop on and join the movement in making The Children of the Forest a reality.
Asteroid Made of Dragons re-writes /developmental edits are due back to my editor on Friday.

This is probably one of my favorite Promotion items to date. This is now the cover photo for both my Facebook pages: Personal and Professional
It is now the weekend and looks like there is only one month to go for this book to become a reality...(my co workers think I am writing about them). Now, it is true, especially for Lauren.
"36 hours ago I was having the kind of dream that would give our savior one true realization: there is no God. A dream, swirling with excitement and terror, no man should face. The strongest of us would buckle under its sheer madness, and I was the lucky participant."
The image above is the best depiction of the "Maker's" I have ever concocted in my strange deliriums I frequent often:
"A 'Maker' could vary from: a scaly five foot desert sand brown to a towering, slimy, as big as a telephone pole behemoth. The similarity was in their jaw. The bone structure was a steel vice grip, sharp as diamond."
I am at 234 copies sold and still need a whole hell of a lot to get to the goal of 1,000. A number that seems so out of reach, but I will drive this hell bent British Morgan of a story as far as it will take me.
If you are reading this as a follower and one who has not made an order, I hope you take the U-Turn. This story has been so much fun to write and I cannot wait for people's minds to snap upon reading it. Yea, controlled chaos funneled into artistic insanity.
Here are some fliers that you can hand out in your home towns. I see it now, "Hey, check out...this guy. He's weird, but his book! No, I don't know him. It's a publisher. No, it's called Inkshares. I don't know, Polish maybe?" Yep, exactly like that.
Oh no, my last name is misspelled at the very top...great. And then on the back you have this!
Thank you everyone for all your help and the time you have taken in helping me get past 200 orders. On to 300 and then 400, and then!? That is up to you.
Checkmate and Rummy my Dear Gladiators!
