All, thank you for the support. Things have been progressing well... I’ve made some small but crucial changes to the first two chapters, the title, and the general theme. The first two chapters now set up the story better, establishing the environment. Still a work in progress..

    I know what you mean, @Anna Willoughby. If you’ve ever tried to get feedback on a place like reddit, Inkshares is a breath of fresh air. I never would have had the guts to do half the stuff I’ve tried here without the continual encouragement the people here have given.
