Hey All,
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A BOOK FOR KIDS. IT CONTAINS FREQUENT USE OF PROFANITIES, MILD DRUG USE, MODERATE SEX SCENES AND ONE VERY NAUGHTY MONKEY!
Following a massive surge of activity yesterday, the book is now only 13 pre-orders away from breaking back into the top 3 in the Nerdist competition!
Tantalus Depths is only 6 away from 300 pre-orders! As I’ve said, once I reach that number, I’m going to make my original short story, The Perspecive Machine, temporarily free for download to all, as a way to say thanks.
Let’s hit that goal asap, so I can give you all this thank you gift :)
Greetings Destiny-followers,
I just got my first podcast mention! JF Dubeau and Paul Inman of WriteBrain fame have a chat about the Inkshares/Nerdist contest in general, their awesome book in particular (one that I have pre-ordered), as well as giving honorable mentions to Destiny Imperfect and another top read (and my closet competitor), SideScroller (a book I have also pre-ordered). Go and have a listen to their podcast!
And, if you haven’t already, take a look at Destiny Imperfect and see if it’s something you could pre-order. I could do with the help!
Cheers,
Peter
Hi you blood thirsty lot.
I’m just updating you all with what’s going on in my world. I’m finishing a final edit before joining the Quill gang and getting the publishing boat launched for Louisiana Blood. As some of you may know, I’m also writing the follow up called Bruges Blood as well. What would be really great is if you could all take a spin over to the Bruges Blood site for that book and become a follower over there. By all means also leave any comments, it’s thanks to you that the book is being published and I’d like you all onboard for my reader update when I gear up to promote BRUGES BLOOD.
You can check it out and follow me by clicking HERE!
Also while I have your attention there are a couple of books that you might like to throw some credits at as they are all first class reads.
The author of SYNC CITY is not resting on his laurels either and has a cracking Sc-Fi project in the works DESTINY IMPERFECT check it out!
Another great novel I love is Pixilated Obsidian Roses As the universe draws to a close, two young men befriend the mysterious Shedim, and their parallel worlds begin to converge--an experimental dark fantasy, in the vein of Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror.
Check Pixilated Obsidian Roses out HERE
And finally, another great genre mashup. Check out SEVEN DAYS DEAD a brilliant new slant on a Zombie outbreak set against the backdrop of a middle east conflict. Christopher has done a fantastic job of injecting something fresh into the undead genre and he deserves to succeed in getting this published. Take a bite out of his novel and tuck in!
Okay, that’s my update. Look forwards to seeing you all over on the side of Bruges Blood!
Greetings Jackolytes,
Come Monday morning Jack gets exposed to the harsh light of a new production editor over at Girl Friday Productions. This both awesome and daunting at the same time. I shall keep you updated on Jack’s behaviour throughout the process.
And Sync City’s potential stablemate, Destiny Imperfect, is currently in a battle royal (I had to check the spelling on this as I always thought it was royale!) for second place over at the Inkshares/Nerdist contest. There are a few worthy foes knocking on (and potentially knocking down) the Destiny Imperfect door, and I need your help to vanquish them. If you could check out Destiny Imperfect here and hit pre-order, that’d be very cool.
Have an excellent weekend!
Cheers,
Peter
Greetings Destiny-followers,
Thanks so much for your excellent support. I awoke this morning (Seoul time) to see a pack of excellent writers nipping at the heels of Destiny Imperfect (third place is only two away). It would be tremendous if we could put some daylight between us and them. If you’re following Destiny Imperfect but have yet to hit the pre-order button, I’d love it if you could check it out again and consider doing so. If you have already pre-ordered Destiny Imperfect, grab your nearest and dearest and explain to them the critical nature of a video game-based book and its significance within the wider framework of reality. And then get them to pre-order! The contest has a long way to go and I could do with your help!
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Peter
