Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for The Children of the Forest

Hello "CotF" backers ~

Work continues on the book, with heavy editing and beta-reading underway. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the last portion of the story, but I’m hoping to have a complete manuscript by the end of May for final submission. That being said, I intend to take my time in finishing the book, to guarantee that every backer receives the best product possible.

I do have some good news - I have one finished portrait and two preliminary sketches, showing off a bunch of the beautiful artwork backers can look forward to with the art booklet -

Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for Beyond The Code

    Greetings wonderful people,

First of all I’d like to say how grateful I am for all your continuing support in getting this project this far. We are at 164 orders with 45 days to go. We are well over half way there with only 86 orders to go to make Quill. WE CAN DO IT!!

That being said I have finally received some much needed time off from work and have spent that time hard at work (ironic). I just posted a newly revised chapter 4 and it has gotten some massive changes I can tell you that. So please check it out and let me know what you think.

I will continue to work hard to give you a wonderful finished adventure to curl up with. If you haven’t ordered Beyond the Code yet please help this caffeine induced dream become a caffeine induced reality. Another 36 orders and we will have another 50 Point Raffle for a soft blanket with Beyond the Code’s cover art embroidered on it.

Again thank you all for your continued support and please if you like my hard work help support it and bring Beyond the Code to QUILL!!!

6 Days to Launch - Updates Various

        • I was on a podcast! [WriteBrain - Episode 18] Hosts JF Dubeau and Paul Inman were very kind to invite me on  - talked a lot of dish about the genesis (ooh, fancy word) of AMOD - the funding campaign, working on the cover design, editing, etc. Also got to talk about some other great campaigns here on Inkshares like The Life Interstellar. Go click and download so you can enjoy my awkwardness and naked neuroses in AUDIO FORMAT.
        • New review from Examiner.com! A respectable 4 stars and juicy blurbs like this: "With subtle hints to science fiction, Asteroid Made of Dragons could be the fantasy version of Guardians of the Galaxy. " NICE.
        • I can’t feel my face.
        • My first two books (Spell/Sword and The Riddle Box) are still going to be free on Kindle 4/5-4/9. That is still a thing that is happening.
        • Are stress ghosts a thing?
        • Oooh, oooh, oooh! Now that you guys are finishing the book, not only can you leave REVIEWS (*cough*) but you can also play the movie casting game I set up a while back - get in there and FIGHT: http://www.thebookcaster.com/asteroid-made-of-dragons/
        • I still love you. After all this time.

We’re almost there, you slapdash wizards of wonder. One year of rocket burn to land this puppy next Tuesday. Bring your cool shades for the Neil Armstrong moment. Thank you - again and again and again.

A completely overhauled version of Chapter 1 has been sent to you all! Please give it a read when you get a chance and provide me with any feedback or, if you’re feeling generous, leave a review!

Although I liked the original version, I felt parts of it were tonally inconsistent with the rest of the book, something that became very apparent during the editing process. I think it moves faster, is more concise and serves as a better introduction to Penny and how she operates.

          Thanks again!
