Joshua Griffith recommended Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken
a very well written fantasy that show the sheer brutality of being a captive to Bugbears can be and how an elf's pride can do more damage to himself and those around him. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken
Surviving abuse leaves no soul unscathed, and this is especially true of Ptielieren, an elite elvish bodyguard involuntarily integrated into an aversive-heavy culture. Strength can exist absent a ringing victory and weakness does not signify defeat.

Joshua Griffith highlighted an excerpt from Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken
It was the part of him that had sensed the assassins at court, the duplicitous gifts, the hidden dangers when others would have marked his concern for folly.

I was not aware that the higher thought processes and complicated motivations behind the discovery, acquisition, and ingestion of human brains was such a wealth of complex character development, but The Decaying Destiny of Rob the Zombie is just that. The aspects of classical narratives shadows this nascent zombie as he navigates through a world which might be going badly for some, but great for zombies. The author stays true to his character which allows the humor to flow organically, and I look forward to reading more.
