M. Robert Randolph liked an update for Squids In

Thanks for following "Squids In" from conception. As a reward, here is a video of an octopus existing outside the water.

Super floppy huh?  Turns out that octopus’s can exist for only several minutes out of water, so I’m going to have to narrate my way around that little tidbit. Maybe a waterproof game controller...? Looks like these guys managed this effect by putting the controlled in a ziplock bag:

I’ve just uploaded the beginning of chapter one "First Encounter" so please go check it out, comment and share if you like where I am going with this.

As you may gather, I’m writing this on-the-fly for the Nerdist "Video-Game" competition so your feedback is definitely appreciated. I’m eager to place well but know that such a thing will only happen with your help and support.

Thanks for reading. I hope to add more when my brain is not addled by rum...

    M. Robert Randolph liked The Vatheran Prologue
First off, I just want to say thank you for everyone who at least in some way looked at The Vatheran Saga.

It might not look like much right now in it’s current state, but this has been an ongoing project of over 15 years, the story that is currently on Inkshare was written when I was sixteen, and before that I wrote two other full length novels even creating my own language for the books when I was twelve.

SInce then, as you can imagine my style has changed dramatically, so I’m almost really ashamed that I even posted it. But frankly I need to do something with it otherwise it will always burn a hole in my heart. It’s a passion that’s slowly killing me.

The Vatheran Saga Book One, is not the best in the series maybe the third, it pains me that the best one (Fifth) is all on paper and currently sits at over 800 pages, needs to be transcribed to computer.

If you’ve even read the first page, thank you. If you enjoyed it, thank you for at least giving me a part of your time it means so much even if you do not buy it.

    Take care -L.V.

      Hello Friends

Happy Memorial Day! I hope you are having a great weekend.

I have big news to share.

I’ve joined a group of prolific and talented authors on Inkshares to work on a collection of short stories. This anthology, called Too Many Controllers, will feature fourteen stories across genres, time, and realities connected by one theme: video games.

We decided to embark in this crazy idea inspired by the latest Nerdist contest, which will start this coming Wednesday, June 1st. We believe that a collection of stories in which the subject of video games is approached in many inventive and surprising ways will add a generous portion of fun to the contest.

And talking about fun, check out the awesome video author Paul Inman created for the book. Click here to watch it.

You can read more about Too Many Controllers here.

I encourage you to follow the project. Once the contest start, I will appeal to your kindness and ask you to support it by pre-ordering a copy. It is about games, everybody love games!

Have a fantastic rest of your day
