James Rasile liked an update for The Last Faoii

Hi, everyone!

As always, I want to start off by thanking you for your support of The Last Faoii. It’s a tough road, but I have so many people keeping me going that I know we’ll make it. :)

Today was eventful. I stared putting up flyers about The Last Faoii in my hometown. Combined with the advertisements I’ve purchased, I’m really hoping that pre-orders start picking up. I also set up a meeting with a local bookstore owner so that we can talk about when/how I can offer a reading for The Last Faoii. Thrilling and terrifying, that.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to put up any sort of information at my local library, but several people made up for that by stepping forward and volunteering to put up flyers in their hometowns. Can you believe it? People all around the country are going to start seeing The Last Faoii flyers! If you want to join in that fun, send me an e-mail (tahani.nelson@gmail.com) or find me on Facebook (Tahani Nelson) and I’ll send you a digital or hard copy of the flyers. I would love the support!

The Last Faoii was recently nominated for the Break the Beschdel with Strong Female Characters syndicate again, which is exciting. However, so was Evan Graham’s super-awesome Tantalus Depths and I kind of want to see him win. He really deserves it. Still, it was an honor to be nominated again.

On top of that, I guess The Last Faoii was also nominated for a different syndicate, too. But I don’t know which one or how that’s going. I hear weird things through the grapevine sometimes. If anyone has more information, drop me a line, please.

Anyway, I’m going to try to put up more flyers tomorrow, but I also have a protest to go to, so I’m not sure how much time I’ll have. Still, I stayed up for days at a time writing The Last Faoii, so I should be able to stay up days at a time trying to promote it, right?

Take care of yourselves. Follow The Last Faoii on FB if you haven’t already. I’d love to see you!

Love always,
T

    Dear Inkshares family,

With only 24 more days of funding, I am asking for your help! The first little step: I need 5 pre-orders to reach 150. If you could find it in your heart to fuel the fire with a pre-order or two, I would be forever grateful! Also, at 150, the Mission 51 Raffle kicks in. Someone is going to win a personalized Idan Carré sketch suitable for framing!

    Thanks, everyone!

    Peace and love!  :-)

        Author Spotlight

I would like to highlight this incredible book by fellow Dragons, Dread, and Droids member, Matthew Dho: I Am Waltz.

This work promises to showcase the best of what science fiction can be, familiar, yet strange, and exploring timely and deep philosophical questions while also entertaining and delighting readers.

Please support this independent science fiction author in pursuing his craft. All author proceeds go to the families of those killed in the Orlando nightclub shooting, so you will also be supporting a good cause.

        Thank you.

Here is the second author’s interview I conducted earlier this month. The first one was in May for an offline book club.

60 Reader  Milestone | 24 Orders (can we make it an even 25?)

            Hello the The Company,

Well, my Inkshares graphs in the dashboard show I’m way behind on my goal. That’s cool. I’m mostly here to get the word out about my book and hopefully pick up a few legit fans along the way (which I have!!).

I case you didn’t know, as a Pre-order Bonus, I’m currently offering a "Lost Chapter" of my novel, which got cut during a re-draft.  I’m only passing this PDF out for a limited time, so if you are new to writing and want to learn a bit what it’s like to write a whole chapter then delete it, be my guest and place a pre-order and I’ll email you the "Lost Chapter" as a free gift.

If you’ve already pre-ordered and would like a copy, I’d be glad to send it over to you.  Just let me know. (Don’t want to spam everyone).

I’m going to plan another push to get readers onto the site. Got a few ideas in mind. Just need time. Got hit with a few Government audits at work and hasn’t been fun.

            Ok, that’s enough about me...

Why the heck isn’t Mission 51 funded yet? Come on you guys, I’m super excited about this book! I want to read it bad!  If you have credits, give this one a shot!  It was recently selected for a Syndicate, so I know I’m not the only one. Here’s what I had to say about it:

Mission 51 opens with a child’s dream of being a hero and exploring outer space. Now an adult, Mat, is tasked to successfully complete a journey across the vastness of space where so many others have failed before him. With the help of his rag-tag crew and a slick, 5D traveling space ship—a ship that could’ve well been pulled straight from Flight of the Navigator—Mat must reach Earth’s distant sister planet. As the plot thickens and the twists unfurl, the reader will be taken down a road reminiscent of The Twilight Zone.

            Pre-order Mission 51 Now!

            That is all.

            Nauselbaum,

            -M.R.R.-

James Rasile liked an update for This Poem Doesn’t Mean Anything

              Hello everyone,

My latest poem, titled "Quick Response" is a set of QR codes: Each stanza is a QR code. So you will need to view it on a laptop or desktop and read them with a scanner. (QR in a QR Code stands for "Quick Response," BTW).

And again, 250 seems pretty far away with only 31 orders, so if you haven’t pre-ordered a copy, please consider doing so.

              Thanks!
