I hope you all had a very happy, fun, and safe 4th of July weekend! I also hope your pets made it through all the fireworks without losing their furry little minds!

As of this morning we hit 166 pre-orders! Thank you all, and thank you for the growing support and for those who have gone out of your way to push and sell my book to others. I appreciate it more than you know. 

(wow...that inserted much larger than expected, but hey, that’s how awesome I think you all are)

We have 84 more pre-orders to go before we hit our first publishing goal! I know we can do it. For all of you who are new to inkshares, I will NOT be published at all unless I hit 250. So please, spread the word and keep growing this fanbase. 

At 180, I will release the second part of my two-part mini-story you can find here. Everyone who orders between 150 and 180 will be placed into a raffle to be a character in a future story/book. That means there are only 14 spots left!

I hope everyone had a great holiday week, and if you’re not American, I just hope you had  a great weekend in general. For those of you that backed Welcome to Deadland during the campaign, I have some exciting news to help you get through the rest of the week.

The eBook files will be available to download in PDF, mobi, and ePub formats on Friday, July 8th! If you have an eReader you’ll be able to start reading Welcome to Deadland a month and a day before the official release!

It’s been a long road, and I thank everyone for their patience, but there’s only a few more days to go!

Hello everyone!!

Can you believe that there are only 11 days left in the Nerdist contest?! I definitely can’t. Well, I am currently sitting in 2nd place and so if you could tell your friends, family, whoever to pre-order a copy that would be awesome! Also, if you haven’t pre-ordered a copy but have been following my project now would be a great time to do so! For those who do pre-order a copy, you will be receiving a FREE short story (yes free!). We are 18 pre-orders away from unlocking the 6th piece of the painting as well :)

As a hardcore gamer girl, winning this contest would mean everything to me and I hope you believe in this project as much as I do. Yes yes, I’m still pursuing my microbiology PhD, but my passion for writing has always been there and I’m more determined than ever to get my first novel published.

Good Morning All and Happy 4th July to all of my ’merican friends...

Happy early 4th of July to all of my fellow Americans and non-Americans, I hope you have a great day too!

Quick update - You may be interested in following a new idea that I have placed here on Inkshares. Here’s the extremely short pitch:

Follow the life of Eugene Trickens, a survivor of WWII genetic experimentation with a secret, in this indirect sequel to AGELESS.

That’s right, I am in the planning stages for TIMELESS, a sequel to AGELESS! The plan (currently very, very rough) is you will see a lot of characters again in some capacity and dive deeper into some of the mysteries of the first book! I want to stress, this is not a direct sequel and we won’t pick up where the last book left us but don’t worry...possibly someday...whoops, I’ve said too much!

Also, we are less than two weeks from the end of the Nerdist Video Game Contest, and it’s time to jump in feet first and support TOO MANY CONTROLLERS! For those that have, I say thank you! If you haven’t, (and I’m looking at YOU James M. and a few others too) NOW is the time. We still need you! I still need you.

Lastly, if you have some time to listen, I had to pleasure of sitting down with Elan Samuel of The Warbler Books for a great interview (there are heavy AGELESS spoilers)!
