Hey, everyone! If you've already pre-ordered She Is the End, especially recently, thank you! Thank you so much!

If you haven't already pre-ordered, maybe take the leap? It would mean a lot to me!

    News:

    * Congratulations MATT KAYE and JOE TERZIEVA on winning illustrations from my book! The excitement is tempered slightly by the fact that these illustrations don't exist yet, but ONLY SLIGHTLY!!!

    * I did an interview for John Robin's fantastic blog series, World Builders! You know me, I'm all about challenging the status quo and critiquing the standard narrative. Don't just write what "feels right," because what feels right might only maintain a status quo ingrained by your previous narrative exposures! We even got a sort of slogan out of it:

"Read a lot. Write a lot. Then question everything and make it better."
    - Me

Check it out - and look at all the other interviews, too. This is an invaluable resource for all writers.

    * I haven't uploaded Ep III yet... did anyone notice? See, I came to a realization: I can't do my very best in this contest and continue to edit my book. I don't have time.

No one is basing their ordering decision on whether I have 40K words posted to read, or only 30K. Other things are more important in the pre-order decision... so you all are getting Episode III and maybe IV (since that one is already so nice and clean). But that's IT! No more. I have things to do!!

Things like... pre-ordering all of your books! The process continues. Maybe I'm too permissive or whatnot, but only a few of you have traded with me - and I get it! It's okay. (But it would mean a lot to me if you did.) A support network is the main thing that will come out of this contest - and I love to promote other writers.
Please, really, please support me in return, if you already haven't.

    (Phew, okay, glad that's over!)

Now, for the fun part: other books to check out!

Guys, did you know that if you pre-order A Beast Requires by Jay Lockwood, you get an email from Inkshares with the subject line "A Beast Requires Confirmation" which may be the most hilarious thing in the world of late.

(Inkshares! What beast?!?! Does it eat credits? Is it your mascot? Does it have the head of a snake with a little white eye, and when it opens its mouth it looks like the "i" on the INKSHARES LOGO??)

The book itself seems to be a hilarious murder mystery sort of Jasper Fforde, Thursday Next-type thing, which is incredible and insane. Order it yesterday.

The Sleeping Man by Stephen Carignan - The last of the dreamwalkers seeks for answers in the long lost Compendium, but the greatest mystery lies within his own past.

"A thousand paces to wind, not one step more,

Firstly between two trees, dead and dying.

A diurnal wind shall the traveler wait before

They step with foot nearest the land’s sighing."

(Prophetic verse! Need I say more???)

Finally, keep an eye out for an appearance by my book on Nerdist.com tomorrow (or Thursday?) as part of the weekly Top 10 feature. I'll send out the link!

    Later, friends!

All, thank you for the support. Things have been progressing well...  I've uploaded  Chapter 3, introducing a supporter for Rheyn, the Lord Mayor Stephen Cora along with his faithful sidekick and Chief of Police, young Nikolai Cherbonov.  Have a read!
