Charles Moore liked an update for Are You Sure You Want to Quit?

Hello everyone!!

My toughest competitors have definitely been putting in work because now I’ve slipped into 4th place (oh no!). I’m 6 readers away from 3rd place so if I can get back to the Top 3 I would be really happy. There are only 6 days left in the contest so at this point, each and every pre-order counts! Tell your friends, family, coworkers, etc about my story, especially if they’re into dragons and video gaming! If I don’t reach the Top 3 you’ll all get your money back and AYSYWTQ? won’t happen :( If you haven’t pre-ordered a copy please hit that pre-order button and help me on this journey. My friend Kevin made a great introductory video for me so if you still need convincing please check it out! As a reminder, you will get a free short story titled "Mother of All" and a free digital painting when you pre-order.

Alright, I’m off to catch a Pikachu that’s right around the corner. If you’re playing Pokemon Go right now all I have to say is TEAM VALOR!!! :)

Best,

Charles Moore liked an update for Wings of the Pirate

    Hello Adventure Readers,

Well ...  things have stalled out a bit with preorders and we are still a bit short of our 250 needed for publication.  If the idea of a female ’Indiana Jones type’ searching for treasure in the South Pacific with a  rascally ex-pat seaplane pilot appeals to you, then jump aboard with a preorder to make this book really happen!

Thank you to all my friends & family who have ordered already and thank you to all of you who will order soon and will be forever on my supportive list of Friends.  "Wings of the Pirate" is a completed novel that has been polished countless times and is ready to hand over to the Publisher once we reach our 250 preorder goal.  My good friend & Artist, Al Bringas has already done over 20 illustrations and will be finishing up the rest shortly.  If all goes well, you should have your copy of the book early in the spring of 2017.

Now is the time to jump in with a preorder!  It would be fantastic if everyone who follows the project grabs an ebook or goes for the special 1st edition, autographed  ’Hardcover’ (a rarity for Authors in the world of ebook & paperback), then we would be at our goal in no time.  If you’re interested in seeing this book in print, sign up for a preorder or tell someone who loves old fashioned adventure with seaplanes, Air Pirates and mix of colorful characters in the South Pacific to get theirs!

Every order really makes a difference and your support is important to me and very much appreciated.

    Thank You!!

Charles Moore liked an update for Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken

So a friend just sent me this message.  I assume this is partly why a good large number of us do what we do, so I figured I’d share.  Sorry if it’s spammy.

"You have inspired [my life partner of 3 years] so much with his writing. He is also a fantasy writer. Right now he has been writing like double his average amount while drinking coffee out of his dreams are worth chasing cup.  I just thought you should know. It fills me with happy."

The Dreams Are Worth Chasing cup is something I’m offering as an extra incentive to folks who let me know they want one.  It just has the spiral from Borehole Bazaar cover art on one side and the words Dreams Are Worth Chasing on the other side.  Comes in glass and painted ceramic.  The painted ceramic is microwave, food and dishwasher safe, except I wrapped the handle in leather, so that might unravel at some point.  If you want one, two pre-orders of any level is the cost, that and you have to let me know your address and that you’re interested in the swag.

Charles Moore liked an update for Our Family’s Elephant

Get a Book, Give a Book!

Hey Readers! You all are awesome. Thank you for continuing to support and share Our Family’s Elephant to your friends and family. I have an amazing update that I wanted to provide to you all.

This book was written to inspire kids and parents alike. I want them to know that it’s OK to dream, to have BIG imaginations, to have imaginary friends and share the with friends. But, it’s not enough to just make it and set it out in hopes that people pick it up. I want to get the book in the hands of as many children as possible.

That’s why I’m creating the Get a Book, Give a Book support level. Do you want your child’s school to get a free copy of my book? For every print copy that’s ordered, I’ll be donating a copy to a local school or library.

I’ve asked Inkshares if they want to support this campaign, but even if they don’t, I’ll donate 100% of the proceeds of this campaign to make sure that we can print enough copies to get the book into schools, libraries and more importantly, into the hands of children so they too can be inspired.

If you want your students to know that it’s OK to have a big imagination, raise your hand, and share the book to get your copy.

Thanks for your support, your shares, recommendations and reviews!

          Cheers!

          -Chris

Charles Moore liked an update for The Bully Book

I finally got the bestest review in the world. I’ve never received such praise before, it was truly inspiring and has motivated me to continue writing.

Unfortunately my mum is not so good at  computers, so she was unable to send it to me electronically.

Charles Moore liked an update for Invictus

              Onwards and Upwards!

So at some point, we hit 50 followers. I want to use this opportunity to thank (again) everyone who has commented, reviewed or recommended Invictus. You are the oil that keeps the gears turning!

Whilst I’m here, I’ll do two things:

First I’m going to shout out to Matthew Dho’s  I Am Waltz. Any and all proceeds from the sales will be given to the families of the victims of the Orlando shooting. So support an awesome book, and a worthy cause.  Also it has robot gore.

Secondly, I was going to do a character bio - but couldn’t decide who to do. So I asked Silver to give a rundown on the group as a whole instead.

              Key Members:

"Silver Jenkins here, reporting for The Vox. I should probably start with myself, although I’m not that important a member (my trumpet gathers dust in the closet). I’m agender, so they/them pronouns please. I do all the reporting for our underground resistance newspaper The Vox, and am always ready to take an oppurtune shot. I also do a lot of hacking in my spare time, and am a backup in case Adrian’s heart finally gives out.

              • Alyx Bradley -   Our Runner
              • Ruth King-Gomez - She’s our self-confessed den mother, and complete fusspot. She has that motherly stare that tells you off without having to say anything. Oh yeah, and always look at her when you talk to her, or she might smack you.
              • Harriet Anti - Our medic and biotech expert. She used to work for Charon, on project Titan. She was part of the team to crack ectogenesis, then realized the horror of what they’d done and jumped ship. She also has a mysterious genetic illness that she doesn’t like to talk about.
              • Rain Bradley - Harriet’s lover, Alyx’s mother, and currently very dead. Her Soul is stuck in Sheol. Getting it out is our number one objective.
              • Adrian Goldstein - Eurgh. What can I say? He’s a rich git, always high and  has appalling personal hygiene. But he’s a damn good hacker, always looking out for us and can do shell transfers (we call them ’Recuva’) no problem. He spends a suspicious amount of time in the Inner City though. Not that I’m complaining.
              • Mae Anti - Harriet’s biological sister. The two have a chequered past we can only speculate about. She’s our guardian angel. She teaches people how to fight, defend themselves and the nuances of human anatomy. She likes her knives a bit too much, and refuses to get a gun. Somehow she’s yet to have to undergo a Recuva though.
              • Hernando King-Gomez - Oh my god where do I start. He’s Ruth’s husband, if the name didn’t give it away, and performs much the same duties. But holy hell is he ripped. He also runs the farm, kitchens, orphanage and teaches the kids chess, risk and diplomacy in his spare time.

We have others, but these are the main ones. They’re always around, lovely to talk to and fully prepared to die for our cause. Though we’d rather not, because we’re probably all branded as traitors and doomed to Sheol. So we’re stuck living for the time being. Not that we fear death, but more that we know what comes after, and we don’t much like it."

              Love,

              X x

Charles Moore liked an update for The Sleeping Man

Greetings from Oklahoma City! Slowly but surely I am making my way across this country of ours, and I’ve seen a Graceland, a Christian waterpark in Texas, and so much more. During this, we have reached our Quill goal, which means everyone will get a book, so everyone on the list who hasn’t preordered definitely should!

Thanks for your support, and let’s get to the 750 mark!

                  Greetings followers!!

First off, I just want to say WOW you guys are awesome!! I received a spike in pre-orders yesterday and I can’t thank you all enough for your support. Currently, I am in 3rd place but these last 8 days are going to be crucial for me to stay in the Top 3. If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, hit that pre-order button, you won’t regret it!

Also, I just realized that I hit 150 pre-orders (that’s 100 pre-orders away from reaching Quill!). I was literally in tears, sitting in lab, when I saw that number because to me, it means that there are people out there who support my project and want my story published. With all of the negativity out there in light of two police killings of black people, I hold on to these moments of happiness.

I’ll leave you all with another piece to the painting puzzle. Have a good night!
