I don’t know if it’s enjoyable, I think we are all crazy, but isn’t the saying, "All the best ones are?" You’ll find plenty of our ilk here and honestly you might even find *gasp* friends! I found a couple!

Thanks Christopher.  Always enjoy finding new folks who somehow find the maddening task of putting words to page enjoyable.

Well hello and welcome to the always zany, and never too serious group of "authors" mostly just mad folk I find! :)

I think running with the split personality angle could be a really good selling point as an author.  Creates drama....or something ;-)

Be my guest ;) Of course, I’m not sure which of me is the nice one...

Jane-Holly, can I just pretend that it’s the split-personality thing? Because him saying that made me chuckle-snort my tea.

Oh, wow.  That’s actually pretty neat.  Your profile bio led me to believe it might be the names of a pair of collaborators.  The actual story is much more interesting.

:P It actually means that my parents had already had three girls and as I was the fourth and probably their last chance, I was named after both my grandmothers. Both names got hyphenated into the first name so no one could be offended they had been relegated to the middle name. ;)

So...just to fulfill my curiosity.  The hyphen designates that you are of a split personality, correct?

I am very familiar with hyphenated first names, and you did great. ;)

Thanks Jane-Holly! (I’m not familiar with hyphenated first names...hope I did that correctly)

Hey Luke and Tahani!

Thanks for the welcome!

And Luke, I do have a project up, but it’s of a book I’ve already published.  Need to actually get one of my WIPs together to put up.

Hello, Adam! I’m so glad you found Inkshares-- I’m not sure I’ve ever found a community of readers/writers more devoted to helping and encouraging peers. You’re in a great place and I look forward to seeing more of you!

Hello Adam, I love you too. You’re already my best friend!

Welcome to the community, inkshares is a great place. Besides the creepy introductions (what better kind is there?) if you need any help on anything just ask. I usually check daily, and so do a few other authors. It’s a great way to get recognized and connected. I hope you enjoy it and be very active, it’s rewarding.

I’ll check out your project if you have one posted now.

I looked around for a while, but didn’t find one of those random introduce yourself threads that so many forums like this have...so I’m sorry if I missed it.  But, I wanted to get in on the forum action and really didn’t have much else to say than Hi.

So....

Hi!

Love you or something.
