exactly, and authors who agree will earn little less royalties but books will be sold, and this might only be used on physical copies of boos not electronic version

@André Brun nah let’s keep talking about your book bundles idea. Jeremy and Thad can reflect on what i said and decide how to act. that was more technical, whereas your idea is creative.

suppose as Thad said - if someone orders "And the Wolf Shall Dwell", he can add "Tears of an Assassin" as they are both same genre, in the same delivery.
And As Andre suggested, can then offer the two as a bundle, say the authors agree to collaborate.

@Jeremy Thomas But here’s a situation: my parents ordered a reader, then decided they wanted 3 copies (patron) to Israel (yes yes half canadian half israeli, wife american/israeli living in London...!) - why should they pay 30$ shipping for the 4 books? surely there’s a way to monitor this, even of and when the books are actually shipped...

@André Brun again sorry for jumping the gun... your idea is solid Andre, and i especially liked @Thaddeus Woodman ’s tweak

@Thaddeus Woodman yes this could be done, excellent idea too. I was more thinking of prebuilt by Inkshares.  as bundling together the winners of contest, or Quill collection. as sometimes people are interested in more than one book but can’t afford paying the full price for them.  if the bundle could be a little cheaper than the listing price for books it could be a win win situation.

Hi @André Brun , it’s an interesting thought. Are you thinking this would be part of the checkout process?  A prompt to add another book to your order for $X?

@André Brun yes I get your suggestion, I jumped in on the ride as I think my point is valid and if we bundle lets bundle... More importantly though - when r u ordering my book?  ;-)

Joni I was thinking a purchasable pack predefined by Inkshares. in exemple : buy a premium pack of Sword and Laser winners including all books from the S&L contest winners  // nerdist. or even the Quill collection ; if someone would be interested in all book in Quill they could be able to choose a premium purchase pack , a bundled order ;)

There’s no reason for Inkshares not to reimburse the account if two books can be sent together at the same time. Especially when someone ordered two copies of my book - there’s no reason he would pay twice.
I know it’s not that profitable but if we are trying to be a "fairer" platform than traditional publishers, I think it should be considered.

@Jeremy Thomas today someone told me he can’t order my book because the shipping charge to the UK of 15$ is inflated, and he has no use for electronic copies.  I can’t help but to be sorry and to agree. A paperback book shouldn’t cost more than 5$ To ship on a standard service from the U.S. to the UK (not to mention Canada!). Can anything be done?

Was thinking ; could be a great add on service to offer bundled orders.
Inkshares could choose books that share the same theme, or go well together and offer them as a purchasable pack. just a quick thought I wanted to share :)
