This chapter introduces our second main character, Arren. I’d love to know what you think about this chapter and the story so far. Is it progressing as you’d expect? How do you feel about our two leading ladies, Irusai and Arren?

As far as other content goes, I’m hoping to be able to share some artwork inspired by Witherfist in the coming weeks, as well as more chapters, of course.

All, a quick mid-week update:

At the time of sending this update, an amazing 17 of you have preordered ’Witherfist’. We’re still a bit of an underdog in the Geek & Sundry contest, but the competition has only just begun, so there’s plenty of time to catch up. With just 10 more preorders, the book would be well on the way to competing with the current contest leaders. 

From one underdog to another, I’ll soon be sharing with you the second character introduction, this time featuring our princess-in-exile: Arren Kalendra. This second chapter finds the princess Arren far from her home, in an Isherbani bazaar. Keep your eyes on the project page for that update, coming very soon.

Morning all - and what a good morning it is!

I don’t want to bombard you all with too many updates about my book Witherfist, but I had to share some exciting news with you all: Witherfist now has 10 readers. Double-figures! 

I’ve had some really useful feedback already about my first foray into Irusai’s story. I’m hoping to share the introduction to the stories second hero, the princess Arren Kalendra soon. Hopefully you’ll agree that she’s not your average fantasy princess...

Hello all! 

 As promised in yesterday’s update, I’ve just added the first (draft) chapter of Witherfist to the project page: https://www.inkshares.com/books/witherfist 

 This short chapter introduces one of the two main characters, Irusai - better known as Witherfist, the warrior-scribe and former territorial lord of the Last Empire. In this chapter, we find Irusai outside of the reach of the Empire and in less than ideal circumstances. 

 If you have any feedback, I’d love to hear it - especially if you think there is some element of  the writing that could be improved, in any way. 

As always, if you know anyone who’d get a kick out of what I’m writing, please share the link to the book with them. 

 With just one more pre-order, I’ll have 10 pre-orders - could you be the person to take Witherfist into double-figures? ;)

Hello all. 

Just a quick message to say thank you to all of you for your support. It is amazing to me that I started this project only a couple of days ago and already you’re all here with me, many of you putting your hard-earned pennies towards pre-ordering my book. 

My plan is to upload some content from Witherfist this weekend, to give you a flavour of the world, the characters and the story you can expect to enjoy as a result of supporting this project.
