What a wonderful week for an update!

I’ll be taking a break from our regularly scheduled efforts to convince you that "Seeking the Elephant" is worth your hard earned monies to pre-order. We still have time to reach our 250 goal, and we’re doing great.

Today, I’d rather convince you that Tabi Card’s Scribbles: A Collection of Words is worth those hard earned monies. I’ve been following Scribbles for a while, and was thrilled to order my copy. It experiments with and plays narrative styles like a musical instrument, it’s a pleasure to read, and I genuinely hope that she can make her goal. I don’t want my $10 back! She has 3-days left to make her goal, so please jump over now and help her out!

-- in other news! --

"Seeking the Elephant" has nearly 150 followers, and I’d like to take a second to ask for your support in generating Recommends & Reviews! These are invaluable here on Inkshares, and I am happy to offer the same to any books for writers I may have missed! I get busy with real life work and don’t always get to read as much as I’d like. This support means the world and gives us more to work with promoting!

Some great reasons to Recommend or Reveille "Seeking the Elephant":
  • Recommends are free and just take a minute!
  • Revisers are free and take just a few minutes more!
  • With all that free stuff, you now have $10 to pre-order Scribbles!
  • No one ever said I was a subtle promoter!
Have a wonderful day, Inkshares!

How many mothers would cross a continent, brave unknown terrors, risk their lives and fight the oldest powers to crawl the Earth, to secure a future for their child?

Quite a few more than you’d ever dream.

Happy Mother’s Day.

This is a very thrilling day! I just received the final book cover for Seeking the Elephant. Going into an Inkshares campaign I hadn’t realized how visual promotions needed to be. After suffering through some basic photography for the last few months, we are now able to put a cover on this.

The artwork is amazing, and captures the protagonist, Maggi Lopez, perfectly. It’s a strange thing to watch a woman who existed only in your imagination for so long, look back at you!

Help us celebrate by pre-ordering Seeking the Elephant TODAY!

I was interviewed!

Much respect & and many thanks to MercedesFoxBooks for this wonderful opportunity!

Congratulations, Michael, on the Break the Bechtel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate nod! Well deserved! Very, very happy for you!

Oh, glorious Saturday!

Yesterday was one of the proudest days in my life; Seeking the Elephant was chosen as Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate’s book of the month for April! I really wasn’t sure what kind of chance we possible had, Seeking the Elephant is a relative newbie to Inkshares, and we’re less than 3 weeks into our pre-order campaign. The was amazing, and I want to thank the Janna Grace & the Syndicate

"Molisani’s Seeking the Elephant is not only a wonderful story with ghosts and ancient gods in a post-apocalyptic America, but we explore this world through the eyes of a female character you’ll never forget. She is fully developed, flawed and strong, and will draw you in from the first page."

Now, to celebrate! I promised, earlier in the week that I would write a short-story, set in the universe of Seeking the Elephant, specifically as a thank-you gift for the members of Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate. Jealous? Well you should have been a member!

No, I’m not that mean! I will ALSO give this story, once complete, to ANY pre-orders who come in this weekend! I’d love to 8 more sales before Monday so we can hit an even 80 orders! So jump in quick folks! Help us celebrate this wonderful weekend NOW!

Voting for April’s book has begin in Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate!

If you’re already a member of this Syndicate, make sure to cast your vote for Seeking the Elephant! If you’re not already a member, I personally recommend you do join! There’s a lot of great talent & great projects here to support!

More exciting news to follow over the weekend! Keep up the orders!

This is a BIG day for Seeking the Elephant!

1) We broke the 50 pre-order boundary, in just 15 days. If we continue like that, we’ll break 250 sales in less than 90 days! We can do it!

2) Seeking the Elephant is in the running for April, in Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters Syndicate. This is an honor, and a wonderful opportunity! We won’t know for a little while yet who will win, but if you’re a member of Break the Bechdel, I hope you’ll vote for Seeking! If you’re not, GO NOW and check this Syndicate out. Its home to many of my favorite Inkshares authors; Tabi CardAlexander Barnes, and Kelsey Rae Barthel! Check out their work, and the Syndicate!

Remember -- if you haven’t already, buy your copy of Seeking the Elephant TODAY!

The next section of "Seeking the Elephant" is online.

I didn’t write the book in chapters, I used a three-act structure, and have broken down the second act as 15-page reads. Enjoy!
