Hello Readers,

It’s been a while, but I wanted to send out another update. Everything is progressing over here, albeit still quite slowly, and I don’t have any concrete date regarding the publication of Storm of Fury. However, I am confident that you will have my book in your possession before the end of the year! Thank you for your continued patience.

If you’re still interested in checking out my work, I am on Patreon, which you can see if you follow the link below. I have four short stories that are currently available for only $1 (for all four)! Please, give it a look!

Acolytes!

It has been too long, I know, but I’ve been consumed by my work and have become a slave to the beast that is writing. However, I have returned at last, and I bear good news! First and foremost; Storm of Fury. Unfortunately, at this time I still do not have any update as to when publication will be, however I am working very hard to make sure that this book is as perfect as can be. (Don’t worry, this wasn’t the aforementioned good news.)

On a more cheerful note, I’ve finished the first draft of my second novel, (not the sequel to Storm of Fury) and it has been the beast taking the majority of my time. But, with it finished, I’m able to turn my attentions to the next big thing I’ve been working on, which I now have the pleasure to unveil;

I’m on Patreon!

For those who might not be aware, Patreon is a site that allows writers, and other creators, to host and publish works directly onto the site, which avid readers, like your good self, can go and view for a small monthly fee. (Namely $1, however there are rewards for higher donations.) My goal for Patreon is to upload one short story per month, each around 6,000 words or so, ranging in genres of namely fiction and horror. So, if you’re tired of waiting for Storm of Fury, (Believe me, I am too. I can’t wait to get it into your eager hands!) and still want to see what I can do, please check out my Patreon using the link below.

The first story is called ’The Only Decision,’ and it’s the tale of a depressed super hero and his dealings with a tyrannical government. Also super villains. It’s scheduled to go up next week, after holiday festivities are over, and if you’ve joined me as one of my patrons, you’ll recieve access to the story as soon as it goes up.

If you think you’d be interested in this, please check it out! (There’s even an awkward welcome video, yay!) If you do consider a contribution, then thank you so much! I couldn’t do any of this without your help, and you’ve already given me the opportunity to do what I love with your support of my novel here on Inkshares.

To see my Patreon, click here! Thank you again for your continued support and patience for Storm of Fury. It’s coming, I promise! And I hope to see you in a week, when The Only Decision launches on Patreon. But until then, good night, and Merry Christmas.

Respectfully,

Andrew Wood

Hello everyone!

Sorry about the radio silence over here, but I’ve been busy with my revisions. As for that, I am approximately one third of the way through all of my re-writes and revisions for the final draft. I’m still optimistic for an early 2017 publication date.

In other news, thanks to the services rendered by John Robin -the author of Blood Dawn here on Inkshares- and his team of people, I am pleased to unveil the official cover for Storm of Fury! Thanks for following and reading, and remember, if you know anyone who would like a good fantasy book, direct them to Storm of Fury!

Thanks,

Andrew

Ah, learning as you go. Known to me as "still kind of a whole lot of fun." :)

Hey everyone, I have exciting news!

Firstly, an update for Storm of Fury. The rewrite process is slowly moving forward. I’ve ran into several issues, but as this is my first attempt at a second draft/deep revisions, the majority of them stem from lack of experience. However, I’m learning as I go, and while I’m not confident that Storm of Fury will be published by the end of the year, I can promise you that it won’t be long after.

Now, onto the exciting news; I have a new book project on Inkshares!

Entitled the Ballad of Zion Stone, this is an adventure novel set in 1850’s Colorado. My father is the co-creator of this book, and the main theme was his idea. We’re working together on the first draft, and let me tell you, it is exciting!

The book tells the story of Sheriff Zion Stone and his encounter with the dreaded Desert Pirates. But, there’s something about Zion Stone that the pirates may not realize until it is far too late.

I won’t tell you what the twist is, check it out here! (Read to the end of the prologue to discover Zion Stone’s secret!)

At this point in time, we are not selling pre-orders. But please, if you like what you’re seeing, follow the page and recommend the book. And if you’re feeling especially generous, comment on prologue or right a review! Start spreading the word so that when we begin the campaign, we can really push the Ballad of Zion Stone towards the full Inkshares publising!

Stay tuned for more information!

Hello everyone!

I apologize for the extended silence, but things have been busy lately. To update you on the progress of SoF, I am getting ready to receive the last feedback from my beta readers. My editor, Inkshares’ very own John Robin, is expected to finish mid-May.

After that I will do my final round of rewrites before submitting the manuscript to Inkshares for publication. Even after the manuscript is finished, it will still take several months for the book to be published. We’re still looking at late Fall for a publication date.

Thanks to everyone who had ordered thus far, and thank you for your continued patience.

Before I go, I’d like to give a shout out to Tabi Card and her book Scribbles. Check out what she has to offer below;
