Hey everyone,

It’s been a struggle getting time lately, but I’ve finally hit 27,500 words (98 pages!), which means I can put up the new chapter (https://www.inkshares.com/books/thrum/book_segments/wild-workings)! 

I’m curious what you’re going to think of what’s happening in this bit. The crossers show a little of their private selves, and it’s not at all what they revealed to Mary or her family.  

Writing this chapter was a surprise of sorts to me at the time. I knew that there was a moment missing between the dinner and the day of planning, but I was writing without a plan for the book, and I didn’t see what was coming. At this point in the story the wheels start falling off pretty quickly, and I had a lot of the falling-apart figured before I ever laid it at anyone’s feet.

I hope it’s a rewarding read for you, and that you’re well.
